Fun Track with Great Layout
The course have plenty of scoring opportunities. It used a variety of shots and the greens were running true. There were some repairs of the greens in certain areas that kept it from being prime conditions. I would say maybe about 7 holes but sod was down and flags were put in spots that took these areas out of play. Would definitely return when I'm in the area.
Tigers eye
Greens is the only downside on the front nine but are working to improve them. Got rained out after Hole nine, the staff was great super friendly gave us a rain check. All and all great course with a great staff.

A number of the greens are in bad shape, just a heads up. Re-sodding, damaged.

Excellent course
This is the first time I've played this course and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've played a couple other "big cat" courses and will keep coming back for sure. Staff is friendly, course is really nice, and it's rarely overcrowded. There is some parchiness but nothing major or different from some of the pricier courses. I'll definitely play here again.
Easy Access, Friendly Staff, Playable Layout, Green Issues
Have to downgrade to 3 stars - Only negative is most the greens have sections that look burned out and were under repair covered with sand - had to move our balls on majority of putts just to get a decent line. I'd give them a few weeks to see if they can heal. Enjoyed the remainder of the course and layout.

Greens are horrendous
This golf course was not worth the money at all. The greens were fairway length with a ton of repaired areas that are sodded or burnt out. The tee boxes and fairways were great, but you might as well take an automatic two putt when you get on the greens. Staff was great and friendly, but seriously the greens need to be re-done.

We have been dealing with a perfect storm of issues that caused us some problems with our greens, but we have very aggressively treated these issues and we have also taken some additional steps to ensure we will not have to deal with these problems in the future. These greens were completely renovated in 2018 and were in very good condition until the recent unexpected issues occurred. All of these putting surfaces will be healing quickly with the warmer weather conditions and should be in very good shape again soon. We hope you will visit us again soon and see our progress and improvement.
Steer clear
Disappointing. Greens are trash…Plain and simple. Layout is good, but with so many better options in the area, I’ll never play it again unless I hear they completely replaced the greens.

The course is in poor condition
I loved this course the other two times I played but was extremely disappointed at the conditions. The greens were in terrible shape. The grass in the fairways and roughs was also poor. The bunkers were in good condition but the course, in general, needs a lot of help.

Great layout, a lot of fun to play. Yes, conditions are not the best, what other reviews say are true. But still enjoyed the round immensely. Hopefully, it can return to prior play conditions.
Thank you for the nice Four Star review of Tiger's Eye. It is definitely a fun course to play! Unfortunately, the cool cloudy conditions that have been prevalent in our area the lat few weeks have slowed down the breaking of dormancy and impaired the recovery of the greens from the extensive Poa Annua outbreak that affected many of the courses in our area this spring. With rapidly improving weather conditions, the greens will also be improving rapidly. We are taking some measures this summer to improve the conditions we expect to see for next spring and we are excited about the rest of 2023 and beyond.
Great layout but poor greens
The course layout was great but the greens are in need of some serious help. The pro shop was kind enough to warn us before we started the round. Bald patches on several greens and very bumpy. On several holes the pin could have been moved to better areas where there was actual grass. I would play this course again but would definitely call first to check greens conditions. Pace of play was perfect for two of us never backed up.
Needs work
The course layout is great, staff very nice. Greens horrible (bumpy, lots of bare patches, you could not putt true) and very little choice at restaurant.

First time playing here with my father in law and son. Had a great time. Very fun course to play and staff is very friendly!! Hard to beat for the money
Horrible
This used to be a nice course but it has gone way down hill. Not worth the money. Greens were horrendous. Do not play here, Panthers Run or Lions Paw.
We are very sorry to hear of your unsatisfactory experience at Tiger's Eye. The greens on this course did go through a rough stretch recently, due to some unforeseen factors, but great strides have been made in remedying the issues and the course is improving rapidly. We expect these greens to be back in very good shape quickly. We apologize again and hopefully you made your concerns known to our staff, who have been making all players aware of these temporary issues prior to playing and offering several options to help make amends. Don’t bother playing until they relay all the greens.
Not the first time I’ve played Tigers Eye but it is the poorest experience I’ve had here. The course was in general in poor condition. I subsequently found out that they have had trouble for a few years the the greens being , in places, almost unplayable and that they are due to close this course and Panthers Run to rebuild the greens. A shame as the layout is very good but the maintenance is poor.
Nice Track. Cart path only
Greens need some work. Cart path only on a beautiful sunny day after the course dried out from the overnight rain. Despite no standing water there was nobody authorized to lift the cart path only rule. As long as the superintendent is there to lift the rule don't play after a rainy night. Very frustrating.
