Tiger's Eye Golf Links at Ocean Ridge Plantation

Had an absolute blast at Tigers Eye today! Staff was courteous and friendly and the course was beautiful. Wilson was very helpful and friendly in the pro shop. He set up our tee time and checked us in quickly and gave us yardage books. Course was in fantastic shape. It was windy but it was still fun because it was such an awesome layout. I’m local and have played just about every course in the area and this was definitely in my top 3. Will definitely be back to play again!

Read some reviews saying Tigers Eye was in decent condition. In face I cancelled a tee time at Oyster Bay because those reviews weren't great and it was expensive. Big Mistake! We arrived for a 7:48 tee time on a Friday and the parking lot was empty! went into proshop and the c heckin person ignored us for about 3 or 4 minutes while texting on his phone. Total was around $150 for 2. Yardage book was $3.00? Hey, you just charged me $67 how about maybe you give it to me? He did reluctantly. first off the tee. the conditions of the course were marginal at best! Some traps had sand some had none. the greens were full of "fixes" if you play golf you know what I mean. The fairways were alternately no grass or too much grass. We finished quickly and we went inside for a bite to eat big mistake! Premade sandwiches or a hot dog? Can you kill a hot dog? ABSOLUTELY it was coated in a green slime...shouldn't have eaten it but we did...4 hours later...you guessed it! Just don't go to any of the cat courses. Play Meadowlands instead!

From the friendliness of the staff when we first arrived, to getting us out one hour before our tee time, to the conditions of the course, and a four hour round this course is a must. Excellent conditions considering it’s winter still!

Love this tract, had the second tee time of the morning and flew around the course. The fairways are over seeded and were thick and green. Greens were in very good shape. Staff very nice all the way around. Of the three courses played this

We really like the layout of this course and it has a lot of potential. However, there are a few signs that they are struggling somewhat financially. My buddy called and asked about a tee time and they had plenty available, during a Saturday in October which is supposed to be peak season. Not a great sign. The range balls were horrendous, different colors and brands, most needed to just be replaced. Some tee boxes looked good, some had plenty of large weeds growing on them. Likewise, some of the greens were nice and some were struggling with bare spots. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our round but a bit concerned about the lack of maintenance in some areas.

I was a little concerned about playing here considering the negative reviews and since Leopard’s Chase was mehhh when I played in April 2021. Although Tiger’s Eye is not a premium course, it’s better than the picture some of the review bombers painted. Greens speeds were resort slow (about 8-9 on the stimpmeter) but they weren’t terrible. Most greens except No. 2 had full coverage. Greens were very grainy, though. I didn’t three putt but couldn’t make anything even though I’m accustomed to Bermuda. There were some rough patches on three fairways and the tee boxes need TLC but it was not unplayable. Bunker sand was good. Many other MB area bunkers are mud/hard pan. We played in under 4 hours. Would’ve been quicker but bag drop paired a twosome with us at the last minute. Not sure why as we never caught anybody and it was not busy. Rate was good via GolfNow - $50.99 with a 20% off promo. Layout is excellent. Especially the par 5s.

Great Course for the price! Friendly staff and beautiful course. Really enjoyed playing here will be back!
