Tiger's Eye Golf Links at Ocean Ridge Plantation

Played this course this morning for the first time and lived it. We were first out and the maintenance team was courtesy and friendly staying away from us on every hole. Would highly recommend it for the layout to the staff all went above and beyond to take care of us.

We drove 30 minute to play this course we never played before. The traffic was so bad we arrived 3 minutes AFTER our tee time of 1 PM. The man signing us in told me to see the starter. The starter said we had to let a group of 20 golfers play ahead of us who were to tee off at 1:06 but could not wait a few minutes for us three some to either skip a hole or play ahead of the group. We drove to the first tee and were told that some of the group was going to the 4th hole. Now how could anyone play 2 or 3 holes in 10 minutes if they started at 1 pm? We normally play 18 holes in 3.5 hours if not waiting on every hole. It took us 4.5 hours. I was 4 over on the front 9 and 1 over on the back 9 going to hole #18 which I tripled, the other 2 in my group parred that hole. My son-in-law said it was the best course he had played so far this week. He shot 80 as well and we had played 5X this week. Lots of water and a beautiful course. Need signs to know where to go for each of the 3 courses to the #1 hole. We followed a cart who ended up going home instead of Hole #1. The ranger was excellent, He came by several times during the round, but could not do a thing due to breaking the 20 golfers in a tournament. The greens were a nice speed and did not have an issue with the little weeds here and there for the price of $65 we paid this time of year at Myrtle Beach. I would like to play this course again since it is the course that is most important and not the starter's bad manners to letting 20 golfers play a COUPLE MINUTES LATER than their tee time. NOT NICE!

Very friendly staff and easy check in. Practice facilities not great but adequate. We completed our round in under 4 hours with minimal wait times. From the blue tees, the course was very challenging and scenic.. Fairways had many bare spots but should improve with warmer weather. Except for a few patches of poa annua in some areas, the greens putted fast and true. I recommend this course to anyone. Did I mention that the staff was very friendly.

We really enjoyed playing this course and look forward to playing again. The design was very good and overall well kept.

Great layout, but a little rough at some spots. Would be top notch if they were ever able to get conditions back.

Greens were patchy but rolled true.

This course has a few tricky spots that make those with precise iron shots a bit of a challenge to get just right, but not too difficult that a newer golfer can’t handle. A few water hazards and plenty of sand make for an interesting and beautifully laid out course.

The clubhouse guys were great and the course was fun. Yes, there is some winter growth on the greens, but overall it was a very pleasurable experience. Highly recommended.

Lots of courses to choose from, but Tiger’s Eye was a great course and is an excellent choice. Greens were great, fairways were plush. Some scenic holes as well. Challenging yet storable.

I had a great round of golf but sadly played all alone. I was very disappointed and surprised that I was sent out as a single. The course was fairly deserted and I finally saw humans (working) on the 6th hole. Never saw another golfer until #14.

Greens were fast and I enjoyed the round much more once I finished with another person.

Parred the first 3 hoes and has no one to share my ParSips with!

Course was good condition, just a couple of greens were a little patchy. Lots of bunkers on the course and waste bunkers too. All staff were very friendly especially our starter Tim. Would definitely recommend this course

Course layout and the conditions of the course were an excellent condition. The greens were fast smooth and fair. Overall we greatly enjoyed the course the pace of play was also very good

Played Saturday afternoon round with the wife. It was a very relaxing round, took less than 4 hours to play our round, friendly staff, course conditioning was very nice, greens were in good condition. We thoroughly enjoyed our round at Tiger's Eye will definitely play here again soon.

Great cart attendants, wonderful lay out, but a few greens are marginal.
