Nice Surprise
This was a nice surprise playing here on a weekday afternoon. Course was in really nice shape and a terrific value. The staff was awesome from the pro shop to the bag drop, cart guy. I’ll be back!
Do not book if its cold
Make sure to call the clubhouse before you do anything if it is slightly cold, no updates based on weather. Ended up not letting me out and didn’t let me know until I was at the course. Went down the street and I was able to play elsewhere.
We sincerely apologize we were not able to accommodate you on this particular day. Due to extreme weather conditions, we were experiencing a frost delay that morning. It looks like you booked a 9:09 am tee time online at 8:45 am the same day, so we had no opportunity to give you any advance warning of this unexpected delay, which is actually quite typical in January in our region. We could have gotten your group out in about 45 minutes, but I see you decided to go elsewhere instead. Again, we deeply apologize we fell short of your expectations. Course conditions are very good right now and we think you would have enjoyed your round after the brief but necessary delay in teeing off. Hopefully you will give us another opportunity to do better in the future.
Phenomenal course and staff
Wow, what a course. From the starter to the pro shop to the greens this place is first class. Can’t wait to play it again!

MUCH IMPROVED
Very pleased with the course. I played it back in May and it was not up to par as when i have played it previously. I know the course had a rough go during the pandemic and with dealing with a major tornado about a year ago. Green & tee boxes were fantastic, Fairways were good with the exception of 2. Played Lions Paw the day before and it was as good as Tigers eye. Staff was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back very soon.

Great course that has been neglected
Seems this course has suffered detonated Covid. That is, the lost much business in 2020 and early 2021 which caused a reduction in course maintenance. There are burned out areas in most greens. Large dead spots in the fairways. Over used tee boxes with very little grass left. Late fall over seeding has begun. The course layout is excellent. So maybe with more revenue and funds available to improve course conditions in 20222. Until then I would not play it this late fall and winter.
Thank you for playing Tiger's Eye recently. Covid has definitely been tough on everyone and the golf industry is no exception. Even so, we are working diligently to continue to offer our guests an enjoyable and memorable golf experience. We are currently in the transition period when bermuda goes dormant and winter rye is applied to take over for the cooler seasons, so the fairways and tees will be lush and green once again in another week or so. We hope you will come visit us again and see our continued progress and improvement. Thanks again!
Needed attention
Giid layout, greens needles some help, old pins needed mowing and coutsr ,conditions were nor very good...would not go back.

Had a nice day playing golf, met two good guys that turned into friends, but course could use a little help

Tigers Eye
Course was ok. Greens were slow and spotty. Wouldn’t recommend
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit to Tiger's Eye. We apologize we fell short of your expectations on this visit. We are prepping the courses for the application of winter rye seed, so they will be nice and green through the cooler seasons, and that requires applying various pre-emergent herbicides that can make the grass appear off color for a few days. This is very temporary and typically does not affect playing conditions. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will give us another opportunity in the future to show our "true colors"
Good Round
My wife and I played this course in May and it was in terrible condition. I gave it an appropriate review at the time. For our fall trip it looked a little better so we gave it another chance since it is one of our favorite layouts. The fairways had some grass this time around, the traps were good for the most part, and the greens were in good shape and putted true. The staff were friendly and the pace was excellent, we had nobody in front of us and played in well under 4 hours. Although they still have to work on some maintenance the course was much better and playable now.

Fun and not too difficult
Course had a few flaws but so minimal you won’t even notice. Or it’s just me being picky

As many other reviews indicate the course is a shell of what it used to be. Fairways are uneven in terms of being mowed or bare spots. Green side bunkers were a mess. The greens for the most part rolled true but were thick so they were very slow.
The course is still a challenge and the price is not bad. It’s just that there are plenty of better options in the area.

First time
Went off at 8 am to try and avoid the heat but just like the course there is no escaping it. Some tee boxes with barely any grass and some fairways have been scorched by the heat. The greens are slow. But overall the layout is what will bring me back.
Hot day of golf
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Course layout was very good but condition due to heat had an effect on the the fairways.
