Tiger's Eye Golf Links at Ocean Ridge Plantation

Enjoyed playing this course while on beach vacation. Layout was very nice, staff was excellent. Will definitely be back

Still a good layout, but course is in terrible shape from tee box to green. Assume it has something to do with the wet weather, but it's apparent that this course is getting no love at all. Bunkers are unplayable. Greens were fuzzy with numerous bare spots. If I had paid anything north of $50, I would've been extremely upset. With all the weeds growing uncontrollably in the natural areas around the tee boxes, it's very clear that they have no intention of spending much money to maintain what was once a great golf course. With so many choices in the area, we won't be back.

Great golf course. Challenging for all skill sets.

Loved course layout. Challenging from blue tees but very fair. Fairways were pretty generous. Lot of tee options to challenge golfers of all skill levels. Some forced carries over water (which was fun). Only complaint was that tee boxes were in need of some work and fairways needed to be mowed. Perhaps rain the days before did not allow for mowing. Greens were not fast but were in good shape and rolled true.

The course was in great shape and the staff, as always, was incredibly accommodating and friendly. A twosome who picked up their kids on the turn gummed the course up for the entire back 9 but otherwise was excellent round.

Fun course. Greens were a bit slow, but nothing you would not expect in the heat of July. Bunkers/waste area could use some sand and tlc. Note they were working on the bunkers on the back side and back side bunkers were in better shape. Overall a great experience and a fun layout to play. Will definitely come back.

Played on 07/21/2021 pace of play great and course conditions were good but greens were running around a 8. I thought course value was good and would play again.

This was a great last minute experience. We booked the tee time the night before. The course was in good shape, and the water features/ layout was beautiful. The one problem was not with the course but with a foursome in front of my twosome who waited until the 10th hole to let us play through and then blamed us because we "should have asked them 9 holes earlier if we could go by." Again this is not a problem with the course but it did have an effect on my rating in the pace of play category. Overall, this was a great experience, and for the price, it is tough to beat.

The course was in beautiful shape. I love courses that are fair but you have to hit your spots and play smart, not just fire drivers at every hole. The scenery is gorgeous.

First off, the staff, from the bag drop to the Pro Shop, were so friendly and helpful. There are three courses on premise and Tiger’s Eye is separate building from the other two. Course had a very nice layout. I played from the Blues (10 handicap) and was solid. Not overly long but need to put ball in position. My wife played the Reds and they were very short. Whites were a little too short. I drive the ball about 250-265 and it would have taken driver out of play on a bunch of holes. Course was in decent shape for a public course. Tee boxes were slightly overgrown, but still pretty solid for a public course. Greens ran pretty good as well. Would play again for sure and may want to check out the other courses as well.

$59 with a cart is worth it!

Tremendous potential Needs some TLC and manicuring but layout and whole combinations are great.

I played this course for the first time. I had played Panther's Run several years ago and enjoyed it. Overall, the course was challenging, but not reasonable.

The fairways were in good shape, the greens fast, but true. The course was not particularly crowded and a good pace of play was maintained.

I was disappointed at the landscaping around the tee boxes and along the cart paths. The course had obviously been much more attractive initially. You could tell this portion of the course had not been maintained. In some places, weeds had grown up such that the signs indicating the hole # was barely visible.

Despite that, it was a good day with great weather and enjoyable golf.

Love the course, though it’s been a couple of years since we’ve played it. We get to Sunset for our beach trip once a year. Course is in very good shape, and my one suggestion would be to add one more set of tee boxes. The whites play to nearly 6100 yards and there’s nearly a full 1000 yards difference down to the gold tees at 5100+. I think you need something that splits the difference in the 5500-5600 yard range.

We were able to play three of the Cat Courses at Ocean Ridge Plantation for $120, so the courses not being in the best of shape was really not a problem at all. They were more than playable. Greens were grainy and a little slow, but putts were there to be made with a good stroke. Fairways were firm. Greens were firm. Tee boxes needed the most work. The layout of Tiger’s Eye is incredible. Every hole is unique. Lots of great bunkers and waste area. I’ve heard great stories about the course in the past. Hopefully ownership is able to get it back on the right track because it truly could be a magnificent course.
