Tigers Eye
Course was ok. Greens were slow and spotty. Wouldn’t recommend
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit to Tiger's Eye. We apologize we fell short of your expectations on this visit. We are prepping the courses for the application of winter rye seed, so they will be nice and green through the cooler seasons, and that requires applying various pre-emergent herbicides that can make the grass appear off color for a few days. This is very temporary and typically does not affect playing conditions. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will give us another opportunity in the future to show our "true colors"
Good Round
My wife and I played this course in May and it was in terrible condition. I gave it an appropriate review at the time. For our fall trip it looked a little better so we gave it another chance since it is one of our favorite layouts. The fairways had some grass this time around, the traps were good for the most part, and the greens were in good shape and putted true. The staff were friendly and the pace was excellent, we had nobody in front of us and played in well under 4 hours. Although they still have to work on some maintenance the course was much better and playable now.

And we agree, despite the pandemic related difficulties most business have faced in recent months, Tiger's Eye has continued to improve and we expect that trend to continue through the remainder of 2021 and beyond. Fun and not too difficult
Course had a few flaws but so minimal you won’t even notice. Or it’s just me being picky

As many other reviews indicate the course is a shell of what it used to be. Fairways are uneven in terms of being mowed or bare spots. Green side bunkers were a mess. The greens for the most part rolled true but were thick so they were very slow.
The course is still a challenge and the price is not bad. It’s just that there are plenty of better options in the area.

First time
Went off at 8 am to try and avoid the heat but just like the course there is no escaping it. Some tee boxes with barely any grass and some fairways have been scorched by the heat. The greens are slow. But overall the layout is what will bring me back.
Hot day of golf
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Course layout was very good but condition due to heat had an effect on the the fairways.

Nice play to pkay
Enjoyed playing this course while on beach vacation. Layout was very nice, staff was excellent. Will definitely be back
Disappointing
Still a good layout, but course is in terrible shape from tee box to green. Assume it has something to do with the wet weather, but it's apparent that this course is getting no love at all. Bunkers are unplayable. Greens were fuzzy with numerous bare spots. If I had paid anything north of $50, I would've been extremely upset. With all the weeds growing uncontrollably in the natural areas around the tee boxes, it's very clear that they have no intention of spending much money to maintain what was once a great golf course. With so many choices in the area, we won't be back.
Thank you for the review of your round at Tiger's Eye. You are correct, we have had over double the typical rainfall for our area over the last 30 days, including nearly 5 inches on 8/3 alone, which was apparently 1 or 2 days before you played the course. This massive rain event washed out all bunkers and made everything look soggy and unappealing. The heavy rain also has made grass (and weeds) grow explosively, which requires a tremendous amount of labor to combat. Unfortunately, with the pandemic ramping back up, a willing labor force has been very difficult to find, so we are doing the best we can under very extreme circumstance. Even so, anyone who has played The Big Cats courses over the past few years will readily agree we have made great strides over the past several months and we fully expect this continue as we move forward. We hope you will return some day and see our continued progress.
We apologize for the extremely wet conditions you experienced on your visit. We had a massive 5" rainfall in one day and it took a few days to get things back to normal. We hope you will visit us again soon and see our continued progress and improvement!
Impressive Golf course
Great golf course. Challenging for all skill sets.

Great Layout
Loved course layout. Challenging from blue tees but very fair. Fairways were pretty generous. Lot of tee options to challenge golfers of all skill levels. Some forced carries over water (which was fun). Only complaint was that tee boxes were in need of some work and fairways needed to be mowed. Perhaps rain the days before did not allow for mowing. Greens were not fast but were in good shape and rolled true.
Great Condition
The course was in great shape and the staff, as always, was incredibly accommodating and friendly. A twosome who picked up their kids on the turn gummed the course up for the entire back 9 but otherwise was excellent round.
