Great day
Great round except slow In front and the group behind us seemed to blame it on us and decided to tee off the second we exited the green. Several balls almost hit us and they never yelled four . Unfortunately, about 20% of golfers are unfriendly and mean
Great for beginners
As a new golfer myself, I find this course to be a good course to begin on. My only negative comments would really be the weeds, they just suck your ball away even if its barely in them. I would also complain that you have some fairly decent golfers who play this course and get upset that your pace may not be as fast. I've also played at half moon bay and find that those golfers are way more polite about it.
Windy as usual
2 club wind today... fairways fair.. took a few "bumps" as
when I`m in the fairway my ball should be on grass.
The greens were very good... sand traps a little messy due to Wuhan -19 (no rakes) pace of play was fine 4:30
to play. Some of the ratings can`t really say as stuff was closed... pre virus it was 4/5 stars.
This is a fun course but always well over 5 hr round
I did enjoy the course,it was in good shape, greens rolled true(except for the numerous people who are to lazy to fix there divots)Tee boxes were decent considering people can't repair divots at this time. But the KILLER is always the slow play here,it ruins my round waiting at every tee box and every shot....just hard to keep any kind of tempo going. That why I ussually travel a little,I would rather drive an hour for a 3-31/2 hr round then play 20 mins away with a 5 1/2 hr round
Solid course
Caught nice weather this morning to avoid the heavy breeze that rips through Metro in the afternoons. Greens were rolling quick and were in solid shape.
Too Slow!
Teed off Friday, 3:36. Walked off the course after 5 holes took 1:35.. Just way too slow.
howling winds during the PMs
good links course but you better bring ALL of your golf skills as this course will test you however it normally wins. During windy days, this course will get the best of you. The winds can make you indecisive and hit between 2-4 clubs against the wind however down wind enjoy 300+ yard drives! Electric carts, fast greens, and challenging layout. for newbies to the course, aim for direction poles from the tee box. when you come across kidney shape greens, layup short or aim for open side of that green. landing area is too small and greens are firm for your ball to bounce off into the first cut or way out to the rough. beautiful driving range and prices are reasonable. as the other have mention, make sure your belongings are out of site for thieves in their parking lot. mask required on club house property but on the range and course, free for all.
nice play
course in decent shape, always fun to play where it’s a little cooler near the bay, just have the wind to deal with...greens are nice and true, plenty of undulations.
only negative was being surprised the golf now price of $63 was for walking only, and they wanted to charge $17 for one player, which seems very high. I elected for the $5 push cart and got some exercise along with my decent round of 80.
Would play here regularly
Good condition and a good layout. The grass range is worth a drive for itself.
Bring your A Game
Nice weather but wind is very challenging must strike the ball solid.
Great Course
Course was well maintained, greens were not patchy, tee boxes were not spongey. Overall very clean course, has a few challenging holes but very fun!
