Very slow
We only played 14 holes , but spent 4 hours, it is weekday, not weekend, too slow , did not see anyone to push slow team
This usually drains well .. Today, it was just still wet, and muddy .. I knew it was going to be this way ...
No Marshall, terrible pace +40min on a weekda
Conditions fair, fast challenging greens and descent layout. But Pace was horrible, 2 groups of 3/4 take forever waiting for them virtually every hole, the 2-3 holes in front of them was wide open, cannot finish teeing off at Noon!
Get a Marshall out there every 30min!! Will not be playing there I can’t imagine how long it would take on weekends.
Course was okay, not as good as before
I typically only play Metropolitan once or twice a year. Mostly due to it being not near any of my playing partners. To me the course has slipped a little each time I play it. Fairways are below average or average at best. The rough are a joke … either very pitted or in tall grass. Greens are probably the only thing I found in decent shape. I tell myself to not pay more than $45 with a cart to come here. Will I be back? Sure, again for a discount or to bring one of my friends to try out a new course for them.
Pace of play awful, course conitions were below average for the money
Gave up after 13 holes when we were at the 4 hours fifteen minute mark after waiting on every tee box to hit. Fairways were patchy for no apparent reason -- $71 to walk this was a ripoff.
Course is in better shape, greens were great .. My home course!
Declining Service and Course Conditions
Used to play here for years. Unfortunately the course, range, and management has fallen off dramatically. Pace of play during normal hours is horrible and the new staff here is not friendly.
I’ve always loved this course design but unfortunately, it’s no longer living up to the standard it once had.
Metro has fallen off
The course conditions are a lot worse than they were the last time I played here a couple of years ago. They're struggling to grow grass, and they need a dog to get rid of the geese. I probably won't come back.

Not worth what they charge
Was my first time at Metro and although I really like the grass surface driving range and chipping green (extra charge), I was not happy at spending a bill for this course! It's not great. Fairways are not good at all and unfortunately the greens are being aerated currently and all they did was give you a $5 coupon for their restaurant. I also got charged for my kid to hang out with me in the cart which I found to be unacceptable. This course is a $50 per round course at best. No way it's worth $90+

Punches were not properly filled with sand
