Rolling Oaks is one of two championship courses at World Woods Golf Club. The layout offers something completely different from the renowned Pine Barrens course at the club, but it still offers the same amount of challenge and quality. The golf course is named after its landscape of rolling hills and forests of centuries old Oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Lush, rolling fairways lead to undulating greens that are protected by sharply defined, white sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on three holes. The golf course has a traditional design but the dramatic elevation changes and picturesque landscape covered in azaleas, dogwoods, and magnolia trees really make it stand out. In addition to the two golf courses, World Woods also offers a nine-hole practice course and a circular, 20-acre driving range with target greens and practice bunkers.

This is me on one of the more difficult par 5's. If you play it and your a long ball, play it to the right fairway...You can make it...Lol.. Photo submitted by Robert5455343 on 11/16/2013

Beautiful layout
Well kept challenging track. Beautiful scenery and no houses. Strictly golf. One of a kind course.
Rolling oaks
Great course and got a great price. Course was cart path only but was in great shape. Will be back!
Rolling Oaks
Absolutely beautiful. Plays forgiving off the tees and gets challenging from there. A good short game day and some puts, and you will score well.
Definitely will be playing here more often.
You won't be disappointed here.
Rolling through the oaks
Course was in excellent shape, played in early afternoon, so course was sparse of players. A bit of a drive from Tampa, but an easy drive up the turnpike. Staff was very professional and cart girl made several rotations during our round. Rate this course only 2nd behind Lake Jovita as my favorite course
good- as always!
Rolling Oaks was in pretty good shape. Greens were a bit slower than usual, but I think they're getting ready to aerate them. Love World Woods - pure golf at its best!
First Timer
Fell in love with the openness and visual undulating fairways. Started on 10, thanks to a great starter. Would love to have a Coca-Cola on the turn! I will be back soon!
Super course
Always a great place to play , layout , conditions and
wildlife can not be beat
Good Day
Course was in good condition for all the rain we have had that week
Good layout
The course was in good condition considering all the rain we had last week. The greens were slower than normal probably from all the rain we had
Always great to play here
Mostly wide fairways, lots of elevation changes, greens good, plenty challenging, out in the country as there are no houses on the course friendly staff, doesn't get much better than this for Florida golf.
My golf Mecca
Love this place. Will try to make time every time I’m in Tampa. Unpretentious club, nothing crazy on amenities, just amazing golf courses and practice facilities. The value is second to none.
Great course, great layout.
Rolling Oaks is a player friendly course that won’t drive the average golfer crazy. Beautiful day played as a single for $19 on golf now (using my $10 reward). Didn’t catch anyone till the 8th hole and was waved through a couple of times. Finished in 3 hrs. Course is in great shape, greens are nice, but a lot of undulations. Not many easy two puts, have to pay attention to pin placement to be on correct side.
A cut above other local courses
Great to play this Augusta like course despite the fact I couldn't handle the undulating grainy greens. A must play if you are in the area and particularly if there are special deals available.
Still Tops
My wife and I first played Rolling Oaks 5 years ago and it remains on our must play list each time we visit Florida from the UK. It is my wife’s favourite course period and certainly in my top 3. The course was in excellent condition with the fairways outstanding, the greens were true if a little slower on this visit. The staff were friendly and as we played in the afternoon the pace of play was fine. A particular feature of World Woods is the absence of traffic noise and housing. This makes for a relaxing round and it was a pleasure to see the abundant wildlife. This course has tees for golfers of all abilities; testing for the better players but playable by those with higher handicaps. This is very much a place to go play golf. The restaurant is pretty basic , but hey there are plenty of places to go and eat.
Rolling Oaks
Third time I have played this course and I was not disappointed. Course was in excellent condition. Only negative comment the cart paths in the last two years have deteriated lots of cracking and uneven. Will be back next year.
