Rolling Oaks is one of two championship courses at World Woods Golf Club. The layout offers something completely different from the renowned Pine Barrens course at the club, but it still offers the same amount of challenge and quality. The golf course is named after its landscape of rolling hills and forests of centuries old Oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Lush, rolling fairways lead to undulating greens that are protected by sharply defined, white sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on three holes. The golf course has a traditional design but the dramatic elevation changes and picturesque landscape covered in azaleas, dogwoods, and magnolia trees really make it stand out. In addition to the two golf courses, World Woods also offers a nine-hole practice course and a circular, 20-acre driving range with target greens and practice bunkers.

This is me on one of the more difficult par 5's. If you play it and your a long ball, play it to the right fairway...You can make it...Lol.. Photo submitted by Robert5455343 on 11/16/2013

A “Must Play” course!!
This was the first time i had played Rolling Oaks although i had played Pine Barrens two years ago. This was one of the best experiences i have ever had regarding golf. The course is immaculate even and the staff are just as you would wish. You have to play both courses if and when you get the chance as you will not find better for double the price anywhere.
World woods must play
Great practice and challenging course terrific Fazio design that I have played for 20 years. conditions are always great and sometimes you feel like you are the only one out there
Highest recommendation I can give.
Go play it now
Always a pleasure
World Woods is my favorite course in this area, Hernando county, Florida. It is a challenging layout that rewards good shots, but is not impossibly difficult. The condition is always top notch, very friendly staff, a pleasure to play.
Got my exercise!
Today was "cart path only" due to overseeding. Still an enjoyable day.
Very nice
The course had just been overseeded for winter play, but we got a deal because of that. Cart path only though. Great layout and very pretty course.
nice course, bad restaurant
we started with a 5 ball!! at hole 2 it was all set and we went further with 4 players.
Nice course, easy to find your ball, even you got a big slice between the trees.
After 4,5 hours we went to the restaurant: no wine at all and closing at 5.30 p.m.
greens are very sandy. areas on several greens are gone where sand, seeding, repairs??? are taking place.
Pine Barrons is twice the course, conditions, greens are beautiful. Played it Sunday 11/5/17. Can't wait to play it again.
Excellent
I’m not going blabber on and on. This is a world class golf course. I love beating the January to March snowbirds down here!! The weather is fantastic in November and December and if you take the time to search you can find a steal like I did today...$20 plus fees! I challenge anyone to beat that!
WW still all about golf.
Played Rolling Oaks again for the first time in over 15 years. The course wasn't in top-notch shape, but it was still very good. There were quite a few downed trees from Hurricane Irma. The "hot deal" price of $25 is unbeatable and it's even a great deal at $50. The Pine Barrens was being overseeded and I plan to return in the coming months to play it too. That is an incredible course when in great shape. The facilities could use an update and some TLC, but you go to World Woods for the golf, not the clubhouse...
Good - Usual
One of my favorite places to play. World Woods is top notch! Rolling Oaks was in good condition - fairways good, greens good. Still many trees down from the hurricane but doesn't affect play at all. Great golf facility!
Great tract
Excellent property - played before and found Rolling Oaks just as challenging and beautiful as Pine Barrens. Fazio design and very difficult. From 6400 yards the slope rating is 121, and should be 135. You are playing a lot to uphill greens that are all heavily guarded with bunkers, and usually undulating. The grain comes into play on putting and creates more challenges. This is a real test of golf skills in a beautiful setting. Don't leave food in your carts, the Ravens are very hungry and attentive.
Still a gem
World Woods is still a gem. Great layout and challenge. One of my favorite places to play with 36 holes. Beautiful scenery and wildlife all around. Turkeys, Deer, and Hawks. You will use every club in the bag. Tees for all players abilities.
Nice challenge
Course is in very good shape, tough greens , fun exciting challenging course...beautiful country scenery nice wildlife
Another great round
Considering recent weather the course was very good. The wind made it more difficult than usual. Drove 2 hours to play it but we'll worth the drive.
none better
Rolling Oaks was still in a bit of recovery mode from hurricane Irma, but overall course was in fine condition. It is ALWAYS a pleasure playing here! For me, it is a flip of the coin between Rolling Oaks and the other course, Pine Barrens. Either one is top of the line golf - none better!
Good but slow
I played Rolling Oaks course nice course but the group in front of us was brutally slow. SMH, so not to play behind them on the back nine I instead went back to play the nine holes I just finished playing . So I didn't get to see the whole course, very disappointing .
