Cypress Point Country Club is conveniently located within minutes of the Norfolk International Airport and the Virginia Beach Town Center. Despite its accessibility, the golf course feels peacefully isolated, making it a great choice for golfers who are looking for the convenience of a city course with the pace and beauty of the countryside. It's a layout that is as challenging as it is scenic with strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and fairways. The occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course will challenge players of all skill levels but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. Beginners will still be able to enjoy a round at Cypress Point Country Club. Besides the course, the club is also popular for its practice facility, which has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

nice course
nicest course in the area, greens were average but playable. The layout has some trouble you can get into but not overly long.
Don't despair.
We were joined by two other players so don't count on playing alone. We waited on every Tee Box but still finished in four hours.
No Change
This is the same result as my last review. In addition, we were a twosome playing between a threesome nad a foursome. We completed just under four hours. Pace of play is very good, and greens hold well
Needs water
The fairways are burnt in many spots and often very hard packed. The range is struggling in the same way. The course definitely needs more TLC / watering especially in a drought
Excellent but slow
Pace of play was excruciatingly slow. Loved the course but quit after 3 hour front nine.
One of the best in town
This is probably the best course in town for the price. The carts are super nice and comfortable, the course is in fantastic condition, and it's not over crowded during the week. It's a challenging layout, some tight technical holes, some long yet fairly open ones as well. Just a great course for the money.
Enjoyable Course
Course is set-up different, but the fairways and greens are in very good shape. Greens hold! Long for an average golfer. Shot to the green has to be accurate. My wife and I enjoyed the course a lot! This is the second time we have played the course.
Course in excellent condition
This is one of my favorite courses in the area. Always in excellent condition.
Highly recommended
first things first, I'm a 12 handicap and scored a 88 on the course (my second time to play). The course is very well laid out and enjoyable. Greens are thoroughly bunkered but the sand is in great condition. No problem geting out first time. Greens are large and comfortably quick with gentle breaks.
There was 2" of rain the night before but you couldn't tell. The course drained very well. Pace of play was accepable on a day with perfect weather. I'll play again.
Great course!
Course was in good condition! A few of the tee boxes needed attention..... fairways, rough, sand traps, and greens were all in very good shape!!! Have played before, will play again!!!
All around good course. Greens were solid. Layout is challenging but score able. Only knock is the restaurant, which was closed after 6pm.
