Cypress Point Country Club is conveniently located within minutes of the Norfolk International Airport and the Virginia Beach Town Center. Despite its accessibility, the golf course feels peacefully isolated, making it a great choice for golfers who are looking for the convenience of a city course with the pace and beauty of the countryside. It's a layout that is as challenging as it is scenic with strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and fairways. The occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course will challenge players of all skill levels but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. Beginners will still be able to enjoy a round at Cypress Point Country Club. Besides the course, the club is also popular for its practice facility, which has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

No or limited water on course. No Marshal to manage play. Had an extremely slow 4 some on the front and a slow 4 some of couples right off 10. Chose to skip 11just to get ahead.
I signed my husband up for a round of golf based on reviews of the course while we were on vacation. I am glad we did. The course was nice, we were paired up with two guys from New Jersey and had a great time. Had lunch at the clubhouse and the bartender was great! would definitely visit again if we are in the area and I recommended it to my friend who is coming there next month.
Nice Course, Slow Pace, No Marshall
We’ve played this course twice. It’s a fun and interesting course that is well maintained. However, the pace of play is slow and there is no Marshall on the course to move these along. We waited on every hole from 5-15 minutes. There is a nice bar area at the clubhouse. Restaurant too, but it is closed on Monday.
Ballmarks and bunkers
After playing some golfcourses in Norfolk and Virginia B I am dissapointed over the fact that players in generall do not repair ballmarks and rake the bunkers!
On Saturday the marshall was more concernef that my wife did not have her own golfbag than asking me if I had my golf green fork with me.
Course is in good condition. It shouldn't take 3 hours to play 9 holes, no Marshall to improve pace of play.
Course in great condition
Enjoyed playing here as it has been 5 years since the last time. Course was in great shape from tee to green. Look forward to return to play again
Good course
This is a good course. Was a little wet because of rain over the weekend but very playable. As mentioned in other reviews people need to repair their ball marks on the greens.
