Cypress Point Country Club is conveniently located within minutes of the Norfolk International Airport and the Virginia Beach Town Center. Despite its accessibility, the golf course feels peacefully isolated, making it a great choice for golfers who are looking for the convenience of a city course with the pace and beauty of the countryside. It's a layout that is as challenging as it is scenic with strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and fairways. The occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course will challenge players of all skill levels but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. Beginners will still be able to enjoy a round at Cypress Point Country Club. Besides the course, the club is also popular for its practice facility, which has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

My favorite
Since picking the game back up after a 10 year layoff the staff and course have been great to me. Have had zero problems.
Cypress Point
Great Course, the layout was narrow at times nestles between homes, but the conditions were great. Pace of play was a challenge due to a party on the back nine. Overall great course and amenities. I would definitely play again.
Va Beach Gem
Cypress Point CC is a lovely course with well laid out holes, clear site lines, sculpted greens and fairways. The course was in nice shape, providing good lies in every fairway, tees were above average, greens were fast but held a well struck shot.
The front nine is unusual in that it has three par fours, three par threes, and three par fives; don’t recall playing another course like that.
Practice range is excellent with all grass tees and multiple targets and aiming wands at each station, a. Ice touch. The practice green is the same speed as course greens, making for no excuses on learning speeds.
I look forward to playing here, again!
Excellent experience at Cypress Point
Arrived at course an hour ahead of tee time. Warmed up on practice putting green and driving range. Course was in great shape, well kept fairways and greens. Nice track! Staff was excellent. Played 18 in approximately 3-1/2 hours. Overall great experience.
Waste Time and money
I read so many good things about this course, but it didn't turnout like I expected. The pace was horrible. No Marshall was out there to speed thing up. I waited on the tee box for 10 minutes every hole. The condition was that good.
Worse thing I left my apple watch on the cart, and after 18 I ran inside for a restroom break. The cart guy just unload my bag without my watch. I asked and he said he did not see it. Call the shop 2 days later but no luck.
Player friendly
Pretty course, in decent shape. A few narrow tee shots but overall very player friendly. A few gorgeous water features (h 8, 16, 17).
