Cypress Point Country Club is conveniently located within minutes of the Norfolk International Airport and the Virginia Beach Town Center. Despite its accessibility, the golf course feels peacefully isolated, making it a great choice for golfers who are looking for the convenience of a city course with the pace and beauty of the countryside. It's a layout that is as challenging as it is scenic with strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and fairways. The occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course will challenge players of all skill levels but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. Beginners will still be able to enjoy a round at Cypress Point Country Club. Besides the course, the club is also popular for its practice facility, which has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

Enjoyable Course
Early conditions as expected. Just a fun course no matter when you play.

This course iwas fun to play. I could not be happier consider what I paid to play. Would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a round in Virginia Beach.

Good course - fair condition
I always enjoy this golf course! The fairways and sand traps were in good condition..... the tee boxes need some work! What I was disappointed in were the greens! They kept them long and they were incredibly slow!!! I was tempted to use my driver a few times, seemed like no matter how hard I hit it it never made it to the hole, up hill and down hill!
Spring conditioning
Cypress Point golf was decent for this time of year. Traps were lacking sufficient sand to hit of. Fairways were aerated and greens were not bad but will get better the next month. We enjoyed playing with an exceptional lay out.
High Demand Course
Friendly Staff and starter. Overall course is showing some wear from high use of less than proper etiquette players. Greens were shaggy and still on the recovery from the aeration.
A good course ie crying for upkeep, 5 hour plus round , greens are not as good as they used to be no marshalsno beverage cart , could have reduced green fees as the greens were “ recently aerated “ over two weeks ago
Lost new ping wedge
Course was soggy after 24 hrs rain. Left my nee 58 degree Ping 430 wedge on the 18th green. Was never turned. In. Gurss some lovely soul decided they deserved it.

great coarse to play in area, nothing really to complain about given the time of year, maybe the tee boxes could have been better, but who is to say...
Good round, even after rain
After heavy rains the day before we played the course was still playable and the greens putted true. Staff were all outgoing and nice.
Great course for the money
Read several reviews before booking on golf now. Was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course in the middle of winter. Fairways and greens were in great shape for winter play. Pace of play was great with 18 holes in under 4 hours. Staff was friendly and helpful.
