Honey Bee Golf Club
About
Nestled in the heart of Virginia Beach, Honey Bee Golf Club is one of the area's most popular daily-fee golfing venues. Rees Jones designed the course, incorporating water on 10 holes as well as intricate bunkering throughout. The challenging layout has several tricky doglegs and some treacherous blind shots as well. It's a golf course that demands careful course management and some strategic thinking. Accurate shot placement is also key when maneuvering the rolling fairways and contoured greens. While it's by no means an easy golf course, it is an enjoyable round for players of all skill levels, making it a popular venue for tournaments and corporate outings. For golfers looking to get an entire day of golf in, Honey Bee's sister club, Stumpy Lake, is only about half a mile away.

Great early season shape
Play this course 4-5 times per year. Maybe more. Great value. Course conditions this early in the season were above others I've played since mid-March.
Strongly recommend for locals and visitors.
great course
Course in good condition. greens were great, remember to stay below hole. Staff was very accomadating to first time player
Favorite course
This course is close to our home and is my favorite so far. We usually play here at least once a month at the minimum year round and never have any issues.
Forgiving and challenging course at the same time
Course provides a good diversity of holes but doesn’t overly punish the high handicappers. Pace was a little slow on a perfect weather Saturday(busy day) but not unbearable.
Average golfer, first time playing
Very nice course considering dead of winter. Will have to go again in months to come. Fairways had decent drainage, hard I think due to low temps.
Course was challenging and water hazards were very difficult for me for some reason. Other courses not so much, but these ones really will force one to be extra cautious and maybe take a shorter shot.
Will play there again!
Signs in front of the Gold Tees
Played from tips today, on at least two holes the hole sign was in front of the Gold Tees. Definitely was a hazard and in potential flight path coming of the Tee.
Wet but beats a day inside
Hadn't played here in years but it was a good day on the course. It was really wet. The front was cart path and back 90 degrees. Still had a blast on the course with our crew. Will surely rerun when the weather is nicer. Staff was friendly and professional. Can't do anything about the rain season just be glad it didn't snow.
