Honey Bee Golf Club

With all the rain we’ve had, all creeks and ponds are over flowing. Courses was in good shape however. Fairways moist but not soggy and greens in great shape. Pleasantly surprising how good the course was.

Haven’t played this course in several years. In good shape. Some of the bunkers are GUR which we weren’t aware of before we played. Nevertheless, the greens and fairways were in good shape. It’s a par 70 and has several challenging holes. A good overall course worth playing.

From tee yo green, course was in great shape. A lot of dog legs, left and right. Need to place ball through out course. Fun to play.

This was my first time playing on this golf course. I found it challenging enough for an occasional golfer like myself. Lots of sand traps, and I seemed to be gravitating toward them often, so I got great practice with my sand wedge. Especially noticed how well kept the course was, free of leaves, debris, etc. and the fairways were not bumpy or rutty, even in the rough, it was not too bad. Carts were in great condition and the cart path was well kept and maintained. I have been to other courses in the area and find the cart path in terrible condition with tree roots buckling the paths throughout and their carts not well maintained. I will definitely be going to this course again.

The course was in great condition and the weather was excellent! The staff was exceptional- especially because they had a blitz going on and still allowed singles go out ahead to avoid a slow pace.

Wonderful day at golf. You folks know how to maintain your course. The only problem was a couple of sand traps needed a little work. My goal is not to get in them.

Hard to be negative due to amount of rainfall the course was very wet. Not there fault but something to work on moving water from course. Honestly, the course was in great shape overall. Have always enjoyed golf there challenging but fair layout with greens that can be challenging. If your thinking about playing this course go for it you will not be disappointed.

This course in a bit of a challenge off the senior tees but lots of fun. Would have been better is NOT cart part only but that cannot be controlled. Greens are great but fairways are a bit spotty. Some of the traps were not maintained but those that were were good.

And thus, one of my favorites. Course was not in great condition this year, but enjoyed my round nonetheless.

Shorter than expected very scoreable if you keep it in play in great condition except for a few traps that need some help

Everything about this course was great except for one thing - no bathroom facilities on the course. One has to wait to return to the clubhouse to use the facilities. Course layout was beautiful and challenging. Staff was friendly. I enjoyed this course and will return next year.

Weeds all over the fairways and the greens had ball marks all over them. No marshalls out there making sure players fix divots and ball marks. One of the nicest courses looked like it is in. Need of weed and feed. Players. Fix your balls marks and replace your divots. And take the sand

I have coached a high school golf team for the last 2 years and Honey Bee has been our home course for the last 5 years at least. During the last two years, me and my team have been treated with contempt, spite, and hostility at every turn. The staff treated us as if we were a burden on the course, which is a total dump to begin with. I'm not even going to get into details about the quality of the course, because it would take too long to describe the deficiencies. The point is that not only is the course crappy, but the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced at any course I have ever been to. I grew up playing golf. These high school kids are learning to play. My team has NEVER interfered with ANYTHING at this course for the 2 years I've coached. My team fixes their ballmarks, moves at a steady pace, and follows course etiquette. There is absolutely no reason for us to have been treated badly, yet that's what happened. It finally came to a boiling point and I REFUSE to go back to this course ever again. My team will never step foot on this course again either, nor do they want to.
