Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Very playable course

This is a very playable course for the average golfer. The course is very well maintained. My only complaint would be that the greens are quite firm but that is typical for many inner city courses in Phoenix. The rough areas (sand and gravel) have very few bushes/trees. All in all the course is fair value.

Visit The TREE!!

What a great course tucked away in Chandler. Wide green, green fairways and manicured greens. It was in better shape than courses charging 3x as much. Highly recommend.

Overpriced for how beat up it is.

Over $160 for green fees and range balls. The course was in rough shape. Rough was dried out and basically dirt. They tried to spray paint it to fake it but it’s already gone. Around the green is dead and not maintained. If you miss the green expect to chip off cement like dirt. Some of the greens were I guess okay, but most were dried out and beat up. All and all if the price was $90-$100 I would say you get what you pay for but for over $160 they need to try a little harder. Won’t be playing again till the prices reflect the condition of the course.

Pleasant surprise

Fair and comfortable course layout to enjoy! Greens speed was fair and consistent. Had an early time and wasn’t pushed or waiting to play.

I would return to play again.

Standard AZ course in subdivision

First round of our stay in AZ. Picked it to hone in the game. Wide open fairways with lots of water holes. 3-star conditions with quick greens. Staff all very friendly and enjoyed the day. High price during high season and Phoenix Open that week.

Very well manicured course

The Lone Tree Golf Club is a very well maintained course. The course is very playable for the average golfer. The layout is fairly typical for an inner city AZ course - fairways played out between residential homes. The rough areas are very much devoid of vegetation- just sand and gravel. Greens are a little firm but well maintained and fairly fast. I would recommend playing this course.

Windy weather
Used cart

Due to the rain the night before, carts were restricted to the cart paths. Also due to the rain, the driving range and chipping green were closed. Numerous lakes on the course and several cart paths were under water.

The course was in great condition given the amount of rain the night before. The greens were immaculate and rolled very true. The bunkers were quite crusty but don't know if that was due to the rain.

Very good value

We had a great time at Lone Tree. The course was in good shape. The greens were challenging, the fairways were nicely taken care of and the tee boxes were nice. Would definitely recommend this course.
