About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Great Course
This is my new favorite golf course Challenging, Fun and laid out well. I got a Par on the island hole Great day of golf every time I play there
Fun track , excellent greens!
Had a great time. Paired up early with 3 locals who knew it well. Course was in great shape considering the time of year! A few spots in the fairway but that’s to be expected with the heat. We flew through it in just over 3 hours but weren’t rushing. Excellent time and will return next time I’m in the area.

Greens were in great condition and rolled well. The 9th and 18th are tremendous par 5's (helped by the tough pin locations). Fairways have some bare patches.

Great course
Caught an early tee time. Course was empty. It was my first time playing here. Some of the best greens I’ve played all year. Everything around the greens is in really good shape as well. It’s a shame they are going to tear it all up to overseed soon. There were some rough spots off the fairways but nothing you wouldn’t expect in the summer. I’d recommend this course if you can get out before they overseed in October.
Much Improved
I used to play this course all summer, but the reviews this yw=ear were not good, plus they were doing improvements all over the course. Well, safe to say I was pleasantly surprised on how good of condition the course is in. Sure, there are still some areas marked off here and there, but it's a great track. Seems like every year the courses around the valley start looking very good beginning mid-September, only to be closing three weeks later for overseed, like this one Oct. 9. I'll plan on playing it a few more times before then. Staff is always outstanding, inside and out.

Fun course, great deal for experience. All course staff very customer focused and friendly. Course has multiple tee boxes for all levels of play. Course shape good for this time of year, greens a little slow but expected with heat challenges. Recommend to play.

Me and my buddies had a great time. Pace was great. Employees were very nice. Nothing bad to say but it was a little pricey for summertime.
Course needs work
The course was in pretty rough shape, fairways need a lot of work, bunkers were muddy and wet, greens were inconsistent, slow and/or bumpy.

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! The fairways were a bit rough from the merciless AZ heat, but the greens were good. We enjoy playing here and were even able to get morning tee times!
