Lone Tree Golf Club
About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Wet
Still a bit damp on Xmas Day. CPO..Other than that, good fairways, greens...cpl kinda sandy a tad. Will be back.
Huge disappointment
On holidays in Arizona from 12 December. Played 10 courses from Sedona southward and this course is the worst by a country mile. Tee boxes are like a mini rough. Greens in bad shape and staff not friendly at all. No push carts is incredible.
Nice layout
2nd time playing this course. It doesn’t disappoint. Greens and fairways were pristine.
My only complaint which is somewhat self inflicted. The natural scape ie rough/wayward shot was a rocky surface. Not of fan of damaging my clubs or this design feature.
I would recommend this course.
Lone Tree Golf
Great course. The ladies tee boxes were the best I’ve golfed in Az this fall.
Pretty good place to play
Easy to find easy check in. Good clean carts with nice seats sand and ice chest water bucket for towels. Water for us on course. Tees by pretty good but chewed in spots fairways good rough’s with irregular grass Bunkers with some sand. Greens good and seem to be fairly fast and rarely flat Played in 3:50. Can’t drive carts to car. Price is getting up there
Fun course
We started off by teeing off 20 minutes late. Not good. BUT, we finished in well under 4 hours so pace of play was excellent. The course is in good condition. Tight lies on most fairways and “rough” and very firm greens. They don’t have pull carts or a cheaper rate for walkers so that’s the only negative I have.
Bang for your buck
I played talking stick the day after Lone tree and Lone tree blew it out of the water. I got a hot deal of $87 a person and for his pristine the course was I’d say this is one of the better deals in all of AZ. Nice Mountain View’s, 4.20 minute round, friendly staff. Only thing I can knock is no gps on carts, no waters in carts, and had to pay for range balls. I think normally the green fees are $100+ so anything over 100$ should come with range balls. Talking stick had same amenities (which were none. No gps no waters in carts, nothing) I’d travel 20 miles outta the way to come play here
Pretty fast and curving greens
Easy to find. Easy check in. All ready fairly costly. Clean carts with sand ice chests and nice seats. Need to educate starter about yellow tees. Need to put combo yellow tees on score card. Tees pretty level but some are slightly beat. Fairways pretty nice. Roughs with sparse grass. Bunkers with minimal sand. Greens fairly fast and hardly any straight putts. Played in 4 hrs even waiting on almost every shot. Water buckets for towels. Water and good bathrooms on course. Can’t take carts to car.
Hidden Gem!
Great course that is well maintained with a super friendly staff. Great value!!
