About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Overseed
First day off overseed the course was surprisingly good. Of course the greens were slow but relatively smooth. Good work by the greens people.
Nice Course
Played with my wife (her first time here) and we really enjoyed our round. We played at a quick pace, seldom waited, and the course was in nice shape. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Lone Tree
Course was preparing for overseed, so conditions were not the best.
One last round before overseeding
The course was in good shape for this time of year. Unlike so many other courses in the area, they have not already “skinned” the course while they kept offering tee times. We appreciated it and had a great time.
Play once again
The course isn't in great shape...they're actually closing this Sunday for 3 weeks for maintenance. Great layout and I'm certain it will be much better when it opens again
Great course even the week before overseed
Had a great time playing Lone Tree after about 5 years. I had forgotten how much fun it is and will definitely be back soon. The greens were scalped to prepare for overseed so they were very fast, but ran true. Only negatives were that we only saw the cart lady twice in 18 holes and a couple of off duty employees sitting at the bar drinking water when I stopped for lunch after the round. With only 3 seats at the bar, do you think you could leave them for paying customers? They acted like they owned the place and kept changing the TV channel every 10 seconds like they had ADD.
Great value
We found the course to be of great value. The staff was pleasant; the restaurant food was good and fairly priced. While they said the course was in great shape, I thought it wasn’t true with the caveat that the dry hot heat all summer probably contributed to its condition.
Great value for a great course
I love to play at lone tree! Fun and interesting layout with well above-average conditions. Some of the truest greens in the valley! I’ve played lone tree at least 15 times in the last couple of years and it never disappoints!
Slow play
I play this course frequently during the summer when pace of play is good. I think the winter visitor's are back. It was so slow that we attempted to go to the next hole, but the was also a very slow 2som there. We barely finished with light.
