About
The Bear Course is one of two courses at the Bear Creek Golf Complex; it is a championship-length course while the other, the Cub Course, is an executive length course. The Bear Course is an inland, links-style course with rolling fairways and well-manicured greens. Strategically placed bunkers situated throughout the course add some challenge to the course. A round of golf on this course can be played in less than four hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex, in addition to the two courses, also offers a full grass driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Monsoon rain grows the bear
This course has always been a fall back option for me, but this summer the storms have grown the turf and the result has been a welcome change. Slightly errant shots are now less likely to be lost, and the greens are more receptive. Not sure what they are doing to hole 5 and the tee area of hole 6, but I hope they finish soon.
Bear Ceeek
Course was in good shape, we played at a good pace. The staff was great with the exception of the on-course marshall…not the friendliest guy around. Overall, it was an enjoyable round.
Fun, but needs work.
Had a good round in the heat. They didn’t keep ice in the coolers, greens had been aerated recently( which I understand). Club house food took almost an hour for a BLT. The landscape around the course is not very pleasing to the eye.
Fun course, bad manners
We arrived at the first tee 2 minutes before our tee time. Our 4th dropped out, so when the starter told us we needed to wait for the 4th, we were confused. He very rudely informed us a 4th would be joining us, which is fine, just very unfriendly how he said it. The group in front of us must have been sent out early, never saw them, even from the first tee. By the 4th hole, the Marshall is asking us why we're so far behind? We informed him that we aren't, the group behind us was always on the previous holes green while we were on our green. He literally followed us around the course for 3 holes. Our round was over in less than 4 hours. No reason for such rude behavior from the on course staff. The ladies in the pro shop and clubhouse were very nice.
