About
The Bear Course is one of two courses at the Bear Creek Golf Complex; it is a championship-length course while the other, the Cub Course, is an executive length course. The Bear Course is an inland, links-style course with rolling fairways and well-manicured greens. Strategically placed bunkers situated throughout the course add some challenge to the course. A round of golf on this course can be played in less than four hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex, in addition to the two courses, also offers a full grass driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Very nice for the money
The course was in great shape and the greens rolled pretty true. It was a nice challenge from the tips especially playing into the wind . Pace a play was a bit of an issue but not terrible. I will be back.
Good Desert Course
We had a great time and the staff was great. Course was in good shape but compared to others in this price bracket it was good but not great. It was great as far as the starters friendliness and have beverage carts on the course. Greens a little tough.
Slow
As all the courses in the area get BBC slower and slower , There should get someone one the course all the time letting people know that they need to keep up the pace . It’s etiquette in golf , keep up or pick up your ball.
Good Course/Good price
The course was in great conditions, we love this course because it's usually not too busy but it was actually very slow, the weather has been great and it seems like everybody is playing golf this year
Slow
Just so backed up . At least 30 to 40 minutes slow.
terrible value
For the price it was bad, no grass in fairways , we played executive side , and the y shouldn't charge at all, a complete rip off
Ok to play
Easy to find, easy check in, had frost delay, the southern suburb courses always seem to have trouble, carts getting beat, water buckets for towels, ice chest and sand bottles on carts, tees good, fairways good, bunkers with some sand, seemed to be lot of wet spots from ? sprinkler heads needing repair, greens good and medium speed, always seems hard to bump and run to these greens but fringes appeared cut shorter today, pretty bland layout but still tough to get on some of the greens, can’t take carts to car, price was the lowest on GN for the day
Paid for regulation, sent to short corse.
We prepaid to play on regulation course. Checked in and were confirmed.
We were sent to Cub course(As first timers at this course, we were not aware it was short course). Starter at 1st tee couldn’t find our name. We still assumed it was regulation course. He sent us to 1st tee without checking further. We teed off, looked at scorecard, and then realized we were playing short course. By then we had missed our original tee time, and just played. Office acknowledged it was the course’s fault, but didn’t do anything for us, since they said it was pre paid. Golf Now did offer us some compensation.
