Bear Creek Golf Complex - Bear Course
About
The Bear Course is one of two courses at the Bear Creek Golf Complex; it is a championship-length course while the other, the Cub Course, is an executive length course. The Bear Course is an inland, links-style course with rolling fairways and well-manicured greens. Strategically placed bunkers situated throughout the course add some challenge to the course. A round of golf on this course can be played in less than four hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex, in addition to the two courses, also offers a full grass driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

This course is in very nice condition
For this time of year. with many courses not looking great as they transition to summer, Bear Creek has done a nice job keeping things manicured and green. The fairways are wide and green. The greens are in respectable shape, the sand trails traps are crusty just like every other course. In the valley All in all a great value. I like the wide open links feeling and not worrying about hitting a house or another golfer. Very peaceful day with a decent pace, 3:15 start to finish. I'll be playing here often this summer.
Bear Creek Bear course
The course was in great shape, the pace of play was ok, not great but it wasn't too bad either. For as busy as the course is every day, the staff here is doing an amazing job with the maintenance of the greens and fairways.
Not worth it
Conditions average. Mostly just an uninspiring course with lots of dirt. Pace of play was decent. Hopefully the valley courses come down off their winter prices, because they’ve definitely stopped their winter course maintenance.
Course was nice
My only complaint was pace of play. The first few holes were fine, but the last 15 holes were a waiting game for every shot. Marshalls should monitor the pace. On a relatively easy to intermediate course, it should not take 5+ hours
More like Barren Creek
First time playing and unfortunately it was not great. Mix-up had me waiting nearly 45 minutes to finally join a group (or the option to a) play alone squeezed between foursomes, or b) join a group making the turn on 10). Very open course with views of several tee boxes and greens, with a lot of bare dirt areas between fairways which on a hot, windy day made for a very uncomfortable round. Got to 14 and saw 3 groups waiting on the par-3 15th tee and decided I'd had enough.
Nice course
We enjoyed our round. Ranger came out and apologized for slow play (something we detest) but it really had not been slow. We had no problems.
Long par 3s and 4s
Course was in good condition. Definitely challenging with the long long par 3 and 4s.
Good option
Good course with some really nice holes and well paced round. Other holes were a little beat up but overall had a wonderful golfing experience.
The Bear
Course still in decent shape, although it is in transition. Fairways were pretty good, greens and tee boxes very good. Girl on the beverage cart friendly and courteous. Lots of desert and plane dirt on the course. As busy as they have been the last x=six months, you would think they would put some money into the course. The only upgrade we saw was painted yard markers. When a tree falls down, it's just left there, and never replaced. Don't quite understand this when they charge $85.00 for basically a muni.
Played 3 days in a row......course is in great shape......everyone was fantastic.....weather was great.
Delayed tee times
The golf course looks in really good shape but these is the 3rd time i play here and they always have issues with the delay on the times or no cars for players we play this course in 5 1/2 hrs including the delay time of course
Not very nice
Quite honestly, I really didn’t think I should if had to pay another 72.90 to go off early when there were plenty of tee times available before my 11:33.
The front desk woman was rude and not nice about it. I get I paid for a hot deal, but really, you could not let me go 1 hour earlier as a single that had an available slot? Pretty lame. I won’t be back.
