About
The Bear Course is one of two courses at the Bear Creek Golf Complex; it is a championship-length course while the other, the Cub Course, is an executive length course. The Bear Course is an inland, links-style course with rolling fairways and well-manicured greens. Strategically placed bunkers situated throughout the course add some challenge to the course. A round of golf on this course can be played in less than four hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex, in addition to the two courses, also offers a full grass driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Ok For the Money
Got a descent deal and paid $70. The good - GREENS were very nice, rolled true and consistent. The bad - very boring track, no real memorable holes, lots of “wet” and “mud” balls, dormant grass not consistent. Lastly, GAS CARTS - geez people, it’s 2025, build a cart shed and go electric.
Great greens
Pace of play for a very busy course was under 4 hrs fantastic greens rolled quick and true for the price it's a great course to go play.

First round of golf in AZ for 2025. Greens and fairways are in great shape.
Best value course around . Fairways and green were great. Nice variety of holes and very good par 3s. Will be back often

Course in good shape overall. Greens and fairways were good. Tees are pretty worn. Traps have little to no sand.
Range needs some grass or the addition of mats.
Ok
Course was presented as a top end course. It is not. The course innin ok shape but there are lots of flaws. Greens are very slow. Pace of play was great. It is overpriced.
Pleasantly surprised
Enjoyed the course, good par fours and par threes. The course was in good condition and played well.
Sand box
Holy crap if you want white sandy beaches just go to this courses driving range oh my goodness, went to hit some balls today and after having to drive to the club house get balls then drive to the range I was welcomed by 0 grass and 100% sand the range needs to be closed for two years at least to get it back into a actually driving range or just lay down some mats terrible terrible range conditions will never be back
Big bear hug
The staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home right from the start. The driving range was a little rough but very busy. The pace was very slow but the one hour frost delay could have affected the pace of play-but the day was enjoyable. The course was a bit challenging in the fact that everything sloped to the desert areas but it was a good distance from the forward tees for the more beginner golfer. And a lot of the greens had false fronts. The greens and tee boxes were an excellent shape and the fairways were on par for this time of year.
Great course
Really a nice course. Nice layout. In fairly good shape for the time of year. Only thing I didn’t like is the clubhouse locked up while there were still players on the course.
