Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Terrible condition
I have never played a course whose greens were insuch lousy shape. They needed to be cut. I guess overseeding was recently done and greens hadn't been cut because of that BUT this was a joke. You could not putt! I feel I was ripped off. In addition, we ended up walking because there was a extremely long wait for carts. I should have been given a redit
Basic problem was we played the Executive Course which was more like a farmer's pasture. Rough fairways. Do not go in the rough you will need a baler!
Nice little course, they were just in the middle of overseeing so not in the best shape. I'm sure in another month it'll be good to play.
Great greens and fairways
I have played the course many times but this place continues to keep the course in great condition. Friendly staff and good amenities.
Good Value
My friend and I played the Cub Course. It is an excellent course for beginners and good for players like me working on their short game.
Greens were fuzzy
Course was in great shape but the greens needed to be cut. They had a 5 o'clock shadow!
Good condition
The Cub course is in excellent condition. I especially like the condition of the greens. We asked for a replay of 9 holes after we played 18 and I thought the price was a little high especially since there was no other players.
The course layout is great
The greens were in great shape and I would definitely play there again
Well maintained course w/o cartpaths
Fairways and greens in excellent shape. Somewhat short executive course but a lot of fun anyway.
The pace of play was excellent, in that we went the 18 holes in a little over 2 hours.
Am anxious to try the long course next.
Enjoyable
Nice practice course for your short game. It's a little confusing on how to get to each hole. Course in great shape. Mike the starter was very nice. I will play it again.
Practice for GF
Nice little course for my girlfriend to learn & practice, got lost between 11 & 12 as you must turn around & go back from where you teed off on #11. Other than that great day & round; staff was very good met us at drop off, check in a breeze, sandwich & drinks before our round from kitchen not bad & green & fairways were in very nice shape.
Not worth more than $10
I was extremely disappointed - for $45, this course is NOT worth it. The layout is funky, the greens are terrible, we didn't see the beverage cart until hole 16 (on a par 59!!) and when we did, she didn't have much for food or drinks and only took cash. It's 2017, step up your game! I like the full course at Bear Creek but will never again play the cub/executive course - Unless it's free. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for golf. Bear Creek is off the list for the time being.
Good short game course
Had a great time and s great course to practice short game!
