Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Nodak
Golfed in a wind storm so not a fun day but can't blame the course for that. Some greens are looking tired.
Bear Creek Cub
First time playing the course, usually play championship courses so this was a nice surprise. Just had knee replacement surgery and this course was perfect to get back to playing. Course was in good condition with the greens putting true
Nice Condition
This being a short course it was in nice condition considering people drive all over the fairways and very close to the greens.
Bear Creek 2 course
Beware, there are 2 course at Bear Creek, Long course and short (cub). We assumed we were playing the long course and guess what? We got the short (Cub) course. It is very nice, par 3 and 4 holes. 3 of the holes are 76 yards. You can play the course quick quickly. The Greens were in excellent shape. The only word is make sure you know which course your signing up for.
Nice short course
We always try to play this course a couple of times when we're in Arizona for the winter. The staff is very friendly and the course is always in good condition. Most holes are very short, but you do get to use driver a few times.
Fun Course
The course was in excellent condition. The greens were fast. It's a good course to see how far you hit your clubs. Had a fun day.
Nice outing
Plays the Cub 18, not knowing it was a short course and not informed of the long course. Still ok as the course was in nice shape, nice day and paired up with a great couple
Great short course.
This course is just what you would expect from a well maintained executive course. For that purpose, it fills the bill well.
We enjoy this course as a hassle-free round of golf that doesn't take all day.
Apparently there are 2 18 hole courses here
I did not realize there were 2 eighteen hole courses at this place
I would have never booked this one as I like full size 18 hole courses
I will pay more attention in the future
Good Value
We were once again met by friendly staff who loaded our clubs and filled our cooler with ice. The starter was very friendly and we got out a little early. The course is in really good condition and the greens are fast. Some of the ball washers could do with a little more water. Same great service when we finished. Clubs were washed and carried to the bag drop area. As seniors we find the length of this course to be just right. Very good value for the green fees charged.
Nice little executive course
We played the Cub course as our first round of the vacation. It was a great way to warm up after not playing since October (we're from MN). Staff was great, practice facilities were great, beverage cart made it to us 3 times even though she had to cover both courses by herself. I will play here again!
Fun executive course
Course layout good. I like the no cart path feel. The course could use a few more trees, however.
Overall, a good experience and will play there again
