Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

buyer beware!!!!!!!
there are 2 courses here and one is a par 3 course...we did not know that nor does it show it...when i asked a friend about Bear Creek he said it was decent...i booked it on golf now and when we arrived we were informed that we booked the "executive" course. When i voiced my fervent disappointment and said i hadnt played a par 3 course since my 2nd year of golf...rather than offer to have us to pay the difference to play the "real" course the woman behind the counter very matter of factly said "oh well thats what you booked". the worst part is that the other course was, from what we viewed, very wide open and im sure could have accomodated us (it was after all a wednesday after oon). I will say the starter at the par 3 was very freindly. The cource itself was just OK but the greens were decent....my advice to Golf Now subscriders is just make sure you read the fine print on Bear Creek before you hit reserve
Small course perfect for your short game
it was my first time going out this year to golf wanted to start on a beginner course. I only used my diver on 3 holes. The rest I used my irons even for teeing off. Very short course. Everything was splendid. The fairways were green, putting greens green the only thing that is a little frustrating about the course is that the holes are every close to each other and it can get confusing sometimes on where the hole is. you see carts spread everywhere and wonder if they are on your driving path
Nice course
It was a very hot day and we only saw the cart girl once. Should have more out on hot days. Enjoyed the course.
Golfed here three times over the past two months. Great course for beginners. Layout was great. A few short distance holes for beginners. Course was in overall great condition.
cub
It was more like a pitch and putt course. Poor maintence on tee boxes
Right for our group
Didn't want overly sophisticated course.
Executive was ideal for non long hitters.
Good for pitching
This was an ok course there wasn't a lot of room for you to use to many clubs but it is good for beginners and people who want to play with limited time. You could finish this course in about 3 hours and the tee times are spaced about every 10 min that made it nice. The most used club in my bag was my PW they have a bunch of holes that are short or that are reachable with in a weak drive and a slight pitch. I would recommend you play this course if you want to practice your short game or work on your iron play.
The course is in great shape
We love golfing the Cub , we are from Ontario Canada and 4 years ago we met a beautiful couple on the 4 th hole when they invited us to join them . ( it was backed up a bit) which we are very happy about now . We are very goods friends with this couple now and every time we are in beautiful Arizona we get together with this couple who is from (NewFoundLand Canada ) and come to the cub to play. We love it.
We have also played the Bear which is a beautiful course . Everyone is very friendly,
Keep up the good work

City of Chandler Par 3 Course
Nice 18 hole Par 3 course. The course is always in good shape and the pace of play is average. You can also get iced lemon water for free inside the lounge. Nice 19th hole lounge with good food and drink.
Good executive course
The course is in good shape and is a good executive course. You can use all clubs in the bag. My honest advice ( I have been playing golf for over 30 years and still shoot upper 80's, so I am not saying this because I am full of myself) is this- don't play this course on a weekend if possible- too many people out there who need to spend time on the range seeing if they can actually hit a ball. It was 4 hrs to play, too long for a short course. If you can play during the week it might be better. I know that people want to learn the game, but the driving range is where a lot of folks that I saw today should be. You would think that the high prices this time of year would keep the worst hackers away, but I guess times have changed. Play this course during the week, it is challenging enough and in fairly good condition, if you want to work on your irons and save a little money during this time of outrageous pricing here in the valley!!
Great Course!
This is a great Executive course for a quick round. Pace of play was good and you use every club in your bag.
Weak design
Course has a wide variety of par 3 holes, however they are basically flat and uninteresting. All the challenge is in the greens, which have a lot of slope. There is only 1 bunker on the course, in the par 4 17th and one water hazard, in the 18th. Good course for beginners and very short hitters, and good for walking or practicing iron shots. The day I played it too almost 4 hours to play, which is ridiculous for a weekday on an executive course.
Greens were I great shape.
Will play again
I'd never played an "executive" course before but couldn't get on anywhere else in my available time frame. I was pleasantly surprised. Fairways were average and greens were good. 3 hours. Good practice for the short game. Good value for what I paid. An enjoyable day
Fun course for a quick round
3.5 hour round of golf on a course that let's you play every club in the bag. Pace was a little slower than normal because weather was so nice more people out there. Usually play this course in 3 hours.
