About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

hole in one day
the course was in nice shape and the greens did not break very much. I was playing with a 77 year old friend of mine and it was his first round of the winter which is one of the reasons I picked a shorter course. This is an excellent place to work on your irons and short game without being too concerned with loosing balls. It turned out to be a great day for me as I had a hole in one on number 18, what a way to finish a round.
Cool but Sunny day of golf
This executive course is in good shape. Loved all but one green and easy course to walk. It was a bit cool which meant many golfers were avoiding playing. This made the pace excellent.

Wide open executive course.
Good beginners course wide open no real hazards except last hole. Pace of play was very slow 2 groups on every tee box and many singles and twosomes no marshal on the course. Took 3 + hours to play this very short course. Never once saw the cart girl!!

great place to start playing golf
Went here to allow my wife to improve her game without the length and pressure to maintain a fast pace that a full course would have. The course was perfect for beginners to learn the game without the stress of being pushed by better golfers.

fun course to play
nice, relaxing , moderately difficult with varying greens to keep you on your toes. We enjoy playing as a finale to our week of golfing. It gives us a chance to work on short game and relax a little. Love this course

Great executive course for a beginner to intermediate player.
I really enjoyed my first visit to the cub course. I have played the Bear, in the middle of the grueling summer. The day I played at the Cub course was colol with some light rain on the first 5-6 holes. A shaky start, I birdied by the sixth hole. The grass is very lush and well-kept. The water hazard at the 18th hole offers the most challenge. Overall, a very fun course for a leisure day of practice.I plan to return.
And we cant wait for you to return! Next time, we hope you grab a birdie on the very first hole! See you at the Cub Course soon!
Nice easy beginners course
Good warm up course for Snowbirds or to bring a beginning golfer. Short course, easy to play no hazards until the last couple of holes.

Bear Creek - Cub Course
The Cub Course is perfect for beginners, juniors and family. We played 18 holes in about three hours, the weather was fantastic, and the course was in good shape. The course is short, fairly open, forgiving and the greens would good. We had an enjoyable round of golf.
Golf should be FUN! We are glad you found this to be true. Come back to the Cub Course next time you are close by!

The course was very green and lush. Couldn't ask for better conditions. I love playing here. Cub course works my short game. I wish all golf courses had a practice facility like yours.

Nice course
Lots of mowed grass around greens that effected playing conditions. Additionally, somewhat confusing to locate next hole due to non delineated cart paths. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly!

This course has great staff!
We were very impressed with the staff has they greeted us at the bag drop, took our bags and carried them to our cart. When finished they also returned our bags to the bag drop!
We played the cub course, greens and fairways were in good condition. Pace of play was very fast on front 9 slower on back nine, still played in under 2.5 hours. Great place to work on your game.

Great course
I have played this course a few time and is always is a challenge. Great are pretty dam good most of the time.staff is always looking to please. I play here a lot because I live across the road and sure I can go else where but I choose this course because of the atmosphere.

GREAT EARLY MORNING ROUND
For July temp was great, course in good shape, greens well kept, pace of play great and breakfast after words was also very tasty.....staff very friendly and accommodating...best bang for you $ in the area.

Great course
Paid $13 for 18 holes with a cart. The course was amazing and the staff was very nice. Pace of play was great as well.

Fairways were to wet and it affected my play other than that good course

I booked two tee times on golfnow.com, unfortunately one was at the cub course and the other on the bear course. They were both price close together one $16 and $18. Realized my mistake and booked and additional reservation. Called golfnow to explain my mistake and see if they could fix it. They tried calling Bear Creek but their phone was busy. I thought, once getting to the course and talking to the staff things would get resolved. WOW, Was i in for a surprise...the older lady got a little louder at hearing my request and immediately says golfnow is a separate from Bear creek and she could do nothing about the cub course PAID tee time.(of course her counter is where you pay to play on both courses and she can see i paid for two rounds and couldn't fix the situation. I would have to pay for an additional tee time on the Bear course and she couldnt credit them amount i paid on the Cub course tee time.. the difference is about $3. Then her counter help tried to explain it to me, and she says 'Oh! it takes a man to explain it to you.' So unprofessional, they knew how much i paid. They are judge jury and executioners. So embarrassing, i just asked them to quit talking (LOUD)and let me pay for the additional tee time so these other people can get on with their day.
If you click on hot deals at Bear Creek both courses are listed. It was an honest mistake and the counter persons could have easily rectified the situation. Rather than saying its beyond their control..they can see what i paid and now one plays either course without going to their counter. Their verbal abuse was embarrassing ...
