Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Bear Creek
I played both courses at Bear Creek, Bear course on May 8 and the Cub course on May 9. Both courses are very good and I enjoyed playing both of them. Both courses would be easy to walk if you prefer walking instead of riding. Driving range and practice areas are excellent.
Excellent Executive Course
From the friendly and helpful staff, to the great food, to an awesome challenging executive course, the round couldn't have been better!! It was a great place to take my wife and friends for Mother's Day. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a fun day!! Thanks Bear Creek and manager Jeff for a great place to play golf.......keep up the great work!
We are excited to hear you, your wife and friends enjoyed your holiday round at Bear Creek. Glad to hear our Manager Jeff helped make your experience a good one!
Excellent Course
My wife (a beginner) and I have played here many times this spring and will continue to play here next fall when we return from Florida.
We appreciate you and your wife playing our course when you visit from Florida! Its nice to hear you will keep us in your vacation rotation
The Cub
Course was in great shape, greens rolled true. We played 18 in less 2.5 hours. Great experience!
We cant wait to hear more great round experiences from you at our course!
Nice Quick Course
The executive course is a very easy play, not much elevation change, not many hazards. The pace of play was great. I was in a threesome golfing the front nine and we finished in under an hour and a half (with one guy that must have a handicap in the 50s). Great course.
Happy to hear the pace of play was great during your threesome round
meh...
Course was in good condition. Moderately challenging for an executive course. Good place to work on short game. Pace of play was extremely slow. Biggest issue with Bear Creek: it is always slow and over priced, it appears it always will be. Decent place but many other options that don't charge country club rates and cram as many people as possible on the course.
Check our website for online daily deals and we would love to hear more about the pace of play your experienced. Please email me directly at robinteetimes@gmail.com
Great for the girls
Very good went at 0725 no waiting and did it in 3 hours .Took friends there first time they loved it.
Thank you for bringing your friends to our course and glad you all enjoyed your round and pace of play!
Bear Creek 3-14 Cub Course
Great day to play, mild breeze, pace was great no waiting.
Glad you had a great day of golf at our course and hope the breeze didnt affect your shots too much
Great Shap
Course was in great shape. Staff helpful. Pace was good.
Glad you enjoyed the conditions of the course during your round and thatnk you mentioning our helpful staff!
FIRST ROUND
Easier course to play and loosen up when you haven't golfed since last year!
We are happy to hear you chose us to play as one of your first courses in a year!
A great course for beginners
My wife and I had a great time, the staff are helpful and friendly. This is a great place for folks who are just getting started and don't need the pressure of low good golfers. We played 18 holes in less than 3 hours, and we waited on most holes. We will be going back.
Challenge
Enjoyed playing. Difficult lengths make this a challenge. Play from the tips and you will get to use all the clubs in your bag.
good condition
Greens and fairways in good condition. Very polite staff. Nice clubhouse.
Great staff and very well managed course
We will try to come back. That is testimony enough with all the courses out there
Bear Creek - Exec course (Cub)
Great course for working on short game. Course in great shape.
Bear Creek "Cub" course
A good course to play after taking several months off from playing. I enjoyed it and will play again.
Snowbird Review
Played the "Cub" course ('Executive'). Wide-open course (not much shade). Course is forgiving (especially for those who are wont to take a 'scenic route' on any particular hole), but greens are challenging, replete with subtle breaks. Great for the novice, and the retired! Some bunkers; only real water hazard is on the 18th hole. Great bang for the buck!
The Cub
This is a great course for a short hitter. No par 5's. I booked it as I have not golfed in a long time and just wanted to tune up my game for a good price. I'm going back tomorrow so that says something
Good value
I have golfed a lot of courses in the Phoenix area. This was the first time at an executive course.I went because the people I'm with dont golf much or not at all.It was fun,and I recommend it for beginners.
