Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Great condition
This course is in remarkable condition for the middle of the summer in AZ. A true links course with plenty of challenges.
Great course for beginners
Excellent course for honing in on your short game. Have taken my son here a few times to introduce him to the game. The course definitely welcomes beginners.
Executive Course was well worth it
I had not played an Executive course in many years. The Bear Cub exec course was a good chance to use all my clubs, while especially concentrating on short game. You still can take out the driver on five of the holes, making it a complete golf outing. I really enjoyed the course and was done in just over 2 hours
Good 9 hole course
Played the 9 hole cub course today to work on our short game. Great course, not to short so you get to use all your clubs plus the driver on a couple holes.
Good for JRs
Course was in good shape, great tune up for my 12yo. No pressure, fun layout.
ok course
The course has too many par 3 that are very short distance
Time an money
I really like this course because the prices always reasonable and you can always play it within 33 naff hours that is a perfect amount of time that I like to play not five hours rounds on the bigger courses you still get the buster driver out and lay one out there and the greens are very challenging and in pretty good condition
The Cub course at The Bear
Great course to work on short game and several holes on each 9 where you can use driver or 3 wood. Greens have been in great shape all year long!
Took lessons earlier in November from Mike Barnett. He and the other pros are excellent. They have a wonderful practice area and driving range too.
Haven't golfed the Bear in the last year, but have talked to several people who have and they love it. Longer and more of a challenge but always in excellent shape. Great value!
Good time
Had a good time. The one 70 yd hole on the front nine was challenging where they placed the pin. Would certainly go back and play again.
The Bear Cub
It was fun for all the family. We kept a nice pace and finished under4 hours.
April
A little slow on the front 9, children are encouraged to play with parents
value
Great price golf now, 20$ 18 holes, can't be beat.
TIRST TIME
Enjoyed the track with a begiiner friend, great greens and friendly staff
Good for your short game .
Fun course great for your short game course in great shape staff very nice.
Great Course For Beginners
Great course to play when getting ready to play a real Golf course.
great day off golf-best breakfast burritos
Awesome place...5 dollar breakfast burrito. Recommend this for all
PING PONG
Cub course very dry and very, Very Firm greens could not play the center of greens due to the ball ping on and pong off the back.
Nice executive course
Got started a little early, slow front nice , but a good pace on the back. Course is in good shape and tougher than it looks. Need to be accurate to score well
Excellent Course for New Players
The Cub (Executive Course) at Bear Creek is an excellent course for new players. I've been playing less than a year and this is my favorite course to play in the Chandler/Gilbert area. It's a nice mix of Par 4 and Par 3 holes and because of it's design shots that would be deep in the rough on other courses are playable on the Cub.
Par three
Nice course to take a beginner - pretty forgiving - greens are the hardest part - harder than many - bunkers are limited - condition off of fairway poor so stay on the grass
