Coldwater Golf Club

About
Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Coldwater Gofl
Excellent course for me. I stayed out of the water but visited 3 sand traps. Enjoyed the course and the restuarant afterwards. Beer was nice and cold.
Much improved my only knock on the course has always been slow hairy greens!! No more quick and roll true!!
Very good course
Greens appeared iffy and brown-ish but rolled great!
Played 9am fairways were quite moist still and some bare spots- but would play again today
Golf was good, course in great shape. Pace of play was too slow. 5 hr round is not fun.
Course needs some TLC
Conditions were not the best at Coldwater GC when I played (11/30). Tee boxes were not very level and grass was sparse; fairways were fair, though grass was spotty; rough was in deed rough (much unkept terrain); sand traps appeared reasonably playable (I was successful in avoiding all of them); greens were slow and bouncy (making putting a challenge). Note: practice greens were in terrible shape. Pace of play was OK (4:10), but could have been better had the foursome in front of us just kept pace (example: we arrived on #18 tee when they were just teeing off, on a par 5 with NO ONE in sight). Value was just OK, given the conditions.
a must play course
the staff is super friendly, the course layout provides challenges but it's very fair; some wonderfful views of mountains. Every golfer should play this course!
$25 Muni
20 handicap and over, only… T R A S H Y Not golf. Greens completely un-puttable. This course is completely forgotten. Horrific warm up area. Horrific playing conditions. Horrific waste of time for any semi-serious golfer. I’m no pro but this is a glorified driving range. Staff is great.
fairways not grown in from over seeding to splotchy like playing out of a divot all day. had to bump it all day
Meh
Maybe it's the time of year, but greens were bumpy and thin on grass. Tee boxes were uneven. The layout had a lot of desert interference where you couldn't get a cart anywhere near your ball.
Need a good groundskeeper
Fairways long, shaggy and mud on almost every shot, greens are fair
Fun and forgiving course
Well kept course. Good for beginners as well. The course is very forgiving of bad shots and easy to locate your arrant hits. I know lol
The staff was very friendly and enjoyed talking with them.
