Coldwater Golf Club
Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Greens were in great shape. Staff is always super nice and helpful! I would recommend for a good bang for your buck course in peak season!
Course was ok. Figured it’d be in better shape considering the time of year but is what it is. Staff on the course and in the golf shop were terrific! And the people I played with were very nice as well.
I thought the condition of the course was a little rough. The fairways were patchy on some holes but greens were nice condition. Staff was super helpful and friendly as a first time player.
Pace of play was slow 4.5 hours for a round course condition was average for this time of year, greens were in good condition.
Starter is wasting everyone’s time
Night before round: select 9:44 tee time, even though 10:10 is $20 cheaper because I have things to do. Get to the course at 9:04, no one is on the first tee until 9:36 and the starter tells me I have to wait because if I go early it will slow the pace of play. Does this guy understand time? That move would have sped up play because the single I was supposed to be with would have played faster alone, or the starter could have stuck him with the 3 some at 9:52. Either way, many options available and the starter chooses to waste my time.
The fairways were in really bad condition for winter golf in AZ, patchy grass with dirty on every fairway. Greens in fair condition. Tee boxes looked like driving range that had been battered, lots of sand very little grass. Sand traps, lacked sand in many resulting in a dirt hole in the ground. Waited on every shot.
A Decent Course
The fairways and greens are generally good. The tee boxes are a bit shaggy / sandy, but it doesn't really impact your tee shot. The mounding along the fairways help keep stray balls in play. Even if you miss beyond those you'll likely be able to play the ball off hard-pan unless you REALLY miss bad, in which case you're probably in somebody's pool, yard, or house.
great pace of play.
Greens were fast and true. Tees had some sanding but were very playable. zfsirways were in good shape. Pave of play was excellent
Coldwater has a great and fair layout. For the price you are getting a wonderful day of golf.
