Coldwater Golf Club

About
Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Cow pasture
It's obvious that the crew that is taking care of this course don't care...Everything about this course is terrible. Grass growing in the sand traps. Tee boxes are a joke. Diseased greens. The greens keeper should be ashamed of himself and quit or be fired.
Nice course, decent shape, brown on the edges.
Check in very friendly. Nice staff in the pro shop and snack bar. Course fairways, bunkers in good shape. Greens consistent and good shape. Like the layout. Edges are a little burnt but only in play for poor shots. Play was ok on the front but back really slowed down.
5 hours
A marshal who does nothing is worse than no marshal at all. Why bother paying him to drive around in a cart all day?
Tee boxes need serious work. You can start by filling in the divots and picking up the hundreds of broken tees.
Great course
Friendly staff
Great course
Not from the area and a really nice place to golf if you are visiting Phoenix
Fun track with some interesting holes
The course is interesting as none of the holes really line up side by side which make it more difficult as you can't have your drives stray much offline. The undulations were neat, you don't see those on much of the other courses around the area. Overall a nice course for a decent price.
Great Time
Fun grouping made the round fun. Pace of play was a bit slower than usual, but in my experience that’s an aberration at Coldwater.
Nice layout
Nice layout really friendly staff. Played many times always have a good time. Wish I could say the same about my score.
Friendly staff
Staff made sure I was accommodated with everything I needed and were super friendly , love this course
Coldwater Golf Course review
It's not as nice as the pictures portray it. However most of the fairways and most of the greens were in good to very good condition. There is a narrow bit of thin rough but for the most part the rough is just dirt. I paid $57 and anything above that would be over priced.
Everyone that works there is so friendly. People in the Pro shop, Starter , and the Beverage cart girls.
Interesting holes especially on the front nine.
I found the course fun to play with some challenge. The greens were good and 17 and 18 greens seen to go back forever.
NICE TRACK
Very impressive course, pretty straight forward, very challenging from any tee box. The further back, the more challenging. It was a windy day, not the course fault. Well maintained greens for a desert course...
