Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Coldwater in April

Was a fun round, fairways are looking great! Only thing is the greens are being taken over by mold and were pretty bad. All in all was an awesome round and one of the better tracks for the money

Not What You Pay For

Tee Box’s and Greens were what I expect to get from a $15-$20 a round golf course. I’ve been to pitch and puts that were nicer than these. Definitely not worth the $100 do the round.

Not well maintained

The fairway's were in fair shape but the greens had more bare spots than grass. The bunkers were just packed dirt. I can't remember the last time they actually had sand.

The greens are the worst part of the golf course.

The fairways were very good, but the greens were terrible.

Bad Shape

I have played this course many times and have never seen it in this bad of shape. There was standing water and mud everywhere, the tee boxes were beat up without a level spot on any of them and there wasn't a grain of sand in any of the sand traps. The greens were horrible with bare spots and fungus damage on all of them. We saw the beverage cart for the first tine on hole 17 and she didnt even stop to ask us if we wanted anything.

Greens are a little rough

Greens need attention, bare spots and uneven surfaces. Fairways were gorgeous. Nice layout, good pace of play. Finished 18 in just under 4 hours.

Conditions Not So Good…

Green fees were $100+ dollars, which is pretty typical for this time of year. But the front nine was heavily overwatered, mud everywhere, and the green were recently punched and were not green and certainly not rolling straight.

The back nine fairways were in much better shape as well as the greens, but our foursome was very disappointed on the front 9 and overall value at Coldwater this week.

Coldwater is affordable and plays well.

For being very hot the course is in good shape.

The layout is good and pace of play was fast. Good water stations with ice cold water. Greens were smooth and true. Great value. I’ll be back.
