Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Rough with potential

Course was barely in average shape. Grass from overseed is not fully flush on fairways and greens. Small bare spots not filled in leaving fairways bumpy and greens not fully covered. Good layout and staff were nice. No beverage cart or Marshall on course. Does appear efforts underway to improve.

Was green and pretty spacious

It was in pretty good condition, greens not too bad, pace of play was pretty slow but it was holiday time so might be different in a normal week. Staff were awesome… I would do it again the value was there

They're trying

They had to overseed again. The first didn't take. This made lies in the fairways 50/50 and the greens were very inconsistent and patchy in places.

The grill forgot to thaw buns so there were no dogs or burgers available and on a Sunday we had NO beverage cart. Didn't see a Marshall or starter, so we just worked it out among the groups.

There was a 4some of teenagers in front of us who had ZERO respect for the course or other players and with no Marshall their antics and driving all over the course (par 3's included) got old quick!

Having played here many times over the past 10 years, last time was early 2024, I was shocked at conditions. Fairways were poor, tee boxes chewed up. Greens were fair. Watching groups ahead and the two players they put with us, ignored all cart restrictions- driving near edges of greens, all over the desert, on par 3s, And dirty!! Just look at vintage tee box and the hundreds or more broken tees!! Good layout, great cart paths and friendly staff in shop and grill room. Play many Sun City courses in great shape fot same or less cost. Won’t be going back.

Much improved

Fairways & putting greens in good condition. Some muddy and dug areas. Some tee boxes still need work. Green tees on gole 15 needs to be leveled. Otherwise a nice golf course.
