Nice Pro Shop and Club House with Grill Photo submitted by Russell6471525 on 03/29/2013
Excellent Course
Beautiful crisp morning in November to play golf! The course was in outstanding condition. A true gem and 5-star links course. The gentleman in the pro shop was very nice and offered guidance to this first-timer. A challenging course that I would love to play again soon. Highly recommend. It's rating as the best course under $50 is well-deserved.
Love this course!
Love everything about this course. Absolutely top notch all the way around. A little out of the way, but definitely worth the drive.
Best in the state
Chariot Run simply put is the finest course I have played in the state of Indiana and rivals the best courses I have ever played. The greens roll as true as anything i have ever played, the bunkers are in tip-top shape, and the layout is spectacular. The customer service is top notch. I would give 6 stars if I could. My only complaint is that i live so far away, so I only make the trip a few times year to play. This is a MUST PLAY for anyone remotely in the area.
Always!
This course never disappoints, even after a severe drought. Course conditions far better than one would expect for bent fairways after severe drought. Greens always fast and true. The only disappointing thing was that the clubhouse was closed after our round and we usually like to have a couple of beers and cigars outside after the round. All in well, a great day with friends despite this, especially given the green fee, which was a steal on GolfNow for $30 bucks. Will def b back!
Great courses . I will definitely be back one the best courses I have played all year
The Gem of Southern Indiana
Chariot Run is a great course. Well maintained, beautiful setting, and challenging design. The best course I've played in a while.
Great Challenge
Beautiful, challenging but fair golf course. Several beautiful holes with appropriate risk and reward. I will definitely play again.. Well worth the money!
Great course and challenging
The greens were in good shape and fast just the way I like them.
Great track
Its a little out of the way but it is so worth it. Always in great shape, challenging layout, and cheap beer!
One of the better courses around
With all the heat and no rain you can not tell it here at this course. Greens and fairways are in excellent condition.
Wish course was closer
I have played Chariot Run twice this summer and enjoyed both rounds. The course is holding up very well considering the drought we are experiencing in S. Indiana and N. Kentucky. I would play this course regularly if it wasn't 50 miles from my home.
Absolutely incredible.
This course is absolutely incredible! It is a true links style course that is incredibly maintained! The greens are some of the best I’ve ever played! If you are anywhere near here, you have to go!
Top Golf Experience
Chariot Run provided a great experience for me and my three buddies. We are all decent golfers (2 - 5 handicap) and we had a wonderful experience on the course. The course was in great shape and the greens were rolling around an 11.5 to 12. We will be back again for sure.
Everything is great plus some
Came out for Labor Day round with some buddies. The course is beautiful, the pro shop well equipped, restaurant was awesome. The fairways were in great shape, the greens were very well cared for (very fast) and the pace was awesome. Can’t recommend enough, I will most definitely be back
Great experience
Play this course several times a year and it never disappoints. From the staff at greets you to the pro shop attendants to the restaurant staff, all go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Greens are the best around, sand traps are fair but challenging and I love the roll I get if I hit the fairways with my drive. The par 3s are probably the best 4 par 3s on any course in the Louisville area. I especially like the creek and waterfalls on the last hole, they make me leave with a good feeling about my day and a birdie on the last hole helps too. I highly recommend this course, it’s a must play.
Best public course in the Louisville area
The course is in great condition. The greens are wonderful and fast; around 11 on the stump meter. Played the course many times over the years. It’s the best public course in the area.
