Chariot Run

I usùally love this course,but not on recent visit! They are redoing sand traps,and stacks of sod,machinery, seemed everywhere. Several holes,the items were in the best site line for your drive,which made it impossible to play hole most effectively. There were quite a few holes with fresh sod , around the edges of greens....really could have had lots of markings for "ground under repair"! Holle # 15,a par 3,was a mess all around the green,and it was covered in leaves and debris.

Not really worth the $39 golf now price! Certainly wouldn't pay $50-75 like they routinely charge.

I really enjoyed this golf course and wish it wasn't so far off the beatin' path. When we arrived the cart staff came out to our car. The golf shop staff was friendly and efficient. The starter was friendly and informative. The course gives you reasonable hitting areas so only errant tee shots end up in the heather which lines many holes. The greens were receptive to good shots, rolled smooth and had a scoreable speed. I would say it was primarily "links" style with a few tree lined holes sprinkled in. There were many times I could see many holes on the golf course at once and I enjoy that type of view. The cart paths were smooth and well positioned. There were some on course restrooms. Just a very enjoyable, well conditioned course and facilities.

All I’m going to say is, if you haven’t played Chariot Run, you are missing out.

If you keep it in the fairway you can score, else take plenty of balls. Great course in excellent condition!!

Been playing the run for years... always been exceptional...but especially good this year

Chariot Run continues to be the most consistent well manicure greens in the area The only issue this time was staffing concerns. We made the turn and attempted to get a bite and a beer. There was only 1 person managing the bar area serving as well as cooking. Several people were waiting at the bar and no interaction with the staff We left after waiting over 15 minutes to see anyone.

Really great course,e with friendly staff. Mike was particularly helpful.

Pace of play was on the slow side — but, the wait was worth it. I enjoyed the layout and conditions.

Played it for the first time today. The wind blew and the greens were fast. The course was excellent and the design was fun. My only complaint would be that it is somewhat difficult to get to. I will definitely be back

Second year coming down from Cincinnati. It’s hard to believe this is a public course . The conditions are like a private course . One of the funniest courses to play , the staff is amazing . We will be back for our annual trip .

What’s not to like? Great layout, fast greens and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this. Course and play again

Excellent course. You can play for cheap in the evening without seeing many other people. GPS golf carts. Perfect greens. Good practice facilities. Free range balls with greens fees.

Fairways and greens are excellent. Great driving range. Best public course in the area.
