Golfer Reviews
Excellent course
Fairways and greens are excellent. Great driving range. Best public course in the area.
Thank for 5 star rating, and for taking time out of your day to tell us how we did. Glad you enjoyed the overall experience at Chariot Run and while we've always believed us to be among the best in Southern Indiana, we'll defer to you as to whether we're THE best. Kidding of course, but we appreciate the high praise just the same. Hope to see you again soon.
Another good experience at Chariot Run
I enjoy the layout here, the holes aren't too bunched up. You need to think your way around here to avoid disaster, even then you can take a big number if you don't execute. The greens were smooth and semi-fast. The fairways rolled out and the ball sat up just enough. I was in a couple of bunkers that were inconsistent but they were working on other bunkers on the course. The pace of play was a bit slow for me but tolerable (4:30).
Ugh, just four stars? Sorry we fell short this time, especially on the pace of play side. Chariot Run is such a popular choice because of the excellent conditions and overall experience, sometimes we struggle to get everyone moving around. Great call on the bunkers too - Brad and the maintenance team have been hard at work repairing them, and we're even eyeing a restoration/renovation of those. We look forward to our next opportunity to deliver what you've come to expect at Chariot Run - one of the best experiences in Southern Indiana.
Great day of golf
Staff was super friendly. Course was in great shape with fast greens. Will definitely play this course again.
Thank you for taking the time to tell us how we did. We're thrilled that you enjoyed the experience at Chariot Run, and look forward to your next visit with us.
Never Disappoints
Love this course. It rewards good shots and penalizes bad. If you don’t hit a high percentage of fairways, bring lots of balls. My only issue was I played on same day of club championship which included a five-some. Spent a lot of time waiting for groups to find lost balls. But overall a great golf experience.
Beautiful Golf Course
Tired of playing on unkept golf courses? This is one of the most beautiful non private golf courses I have ever played on. From the friendly staff, to the immaculate greens, you would absolutely love Chariot Run.
Wow, thank you for the effusive feedback. You pretty much covered it too: at Chariot Run, we take great pride in delivering a superb golf experience from the Bill Bergin design and amazing course conditions, to the signature Chariot Run customer service. We're so glad you appreciate our efforts. Hope to see you again soon!
Just 4 stars? We're sorry to fall short in the area of pace of play: Chariot Run is so popular that on busy days, we sometimes struggle to keep everyone moving around the Bill Bergin design. Sounds like Chariot Run delivered apart from the pace, so does that mean you'll come back and give us another chance? We hope you will.
Great layout. Excellent condition.
Great course. Worth the drive if you are staying in Louisville. I’ll be playing here again
Thanks for the 5 stars, and for the positive comments on your experience at Chariot Run. We agree, some drives are just worth it. We look forward to seeing you again when you're in the Louisville area.
Great layout
Bent grass greens / fairways! Excellent shape! Nice practice amenities - putting green and pitching area. Range is average but rest is very nice.
If you are in the area, highly recommend it!
Great Day, Great Course
Chariot Run was certainly one of the best Ive ever played. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course conditions were excellent and the layout is tough but fair. I highly recommend Chariot Run.
Thank you for the 5 stars, and coming from someone who plays once a week, saying Chariot Run is "one of the best" you've played is high praise, so we appreciate that coming from you. We're constantly striving for a 5 star experience, from the Bill Bergin design, to the superb course conditions and signature customer service Chariot Run is known for, and we're thrilled you enjoyed the result. Come see us again when you're back in the area.
Thank you for rating your experience at Chariot Run. Glad to know we knocked it out of the park on your visit, and we look forward to your next round at Chariot Run.
