Much improved!
Cimarrone was in terrible shape in prior years. New ownership has worked hard on improving the course and 19th hole and the changes are very noticeable. The greens and fairways are in excellent shape and the course is much more enjoyable to play than in recent years. Check it out!
Very nice course. I would highly recommend this course. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They. Put me with a group of three nice gentlemen they were very courteous and friendly as well. I will definitely play there again.
Tee boxes need some TLC
The course looks good and very well maintained. The greens are a little slow and the pace of play was really slow. But overall it’s a great course to play at.
Renewed
This place is still getting better and better with the investment that they have made into the course and property. Recommend it vs the other 210 courses right now as they are under some maintenance themselves
Rough too long
My only complaint is that the rough grass is long, which makes it difficult to find your ball. This can slow down play as players search for their balls. I even lost a ball near the green.
When did golf get so expensive
Nice course, however there is rough grass in the middle of the fairway intentionally and I lost a couple balls in it because it was so deep.
The layout was great, but the greens were way too slow for me. Because of the greens, I won't play there again.
Good course
Cimarrone is a staple in the North Florida area. The course is in good shape except for the tee boxes that need of some maintenance. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fun & challenging course layout. Pro-shop is nice and the restaurant/ bar has great atmosphere, food and drinks
Cut the rough!
I’ve played this course since the late 80’s and it’s always been one of my favorite layouts. This weekend though, never seen such deep Bermuda rough. I know you shouldn’t be in it, but let’s be real. Probably added 20 minutes to the round having me and my playing partner look for balls just off the fairway or green. Then, there’s hitting out of it. I would not play there again unless it’s clear they’d cut it down to a playable level. A real shame considering all the improvements they’ve made recently.
A pleasant Saturday
I haven’t played here for a few years due to being out of town. The course is in very good shape. Greens are good- much faster than I remembered. It was a great round if a bit slow (4 hrs and 20 min) but Saturdays can be like that. I’ll be back.
Very nice
Hadn’t played here for a few months as there were renovations going on. But I’m glad to say that this course is back on my rotation schedule. Very nice job with the greens, bunkers and fairways. And although we’ve had some rainy days this pass 10+ days the course was very playable.
I’ll be back soon.
