Cimarrone Golf Club

This course is leaps and bounds better than anything else in North St. John’s currently, can’t say enough good things.

Had a chance to play with my son & we had a great time. Greens were ok. Pace of play was very slow. Starter put a slow foursome ahead of 2 threesomes which had us waiting on just about every shot on every hole.

I only played nine holes previously. The course is in excellent condition. The staff is very friendly and personable. Both times I have played there. I have played with gentlemen and they have been Wonderful. This time I played with two wonderful men, Dale and Frank I cannot say enough about how kind and considerate they were to this old lady. I had a wonderful time and I’m still telling my friends how it was. I would recommend this to anybody The greens were an excellent shape. The moguls are a little challenging, but fine thank you to Dale and Frank again for making my experience pleasurable.

Golf course is in great condition. Greens and fairways are lush. Greens are exceptionally slow. More frequent cuts and rolling of the greens would make them much more playable and make the course one of the best in the area.

I dreaded playing here before, and I was here a month and a half ago. They must have hire HOUDINI as the new greenskeeper because they were really awesome yesterday. No spots, or blemishes anywhere in the greens, and although they where a bit slow, they looked incredibly lush. Kudos to the managing company or owner because the greens are good, and you can tell they are working on the rest of the golf course as well. This includes the clubhouse which looks inviting to come in and hangout since they built a new patio area and bar outside. I am looking forward to playing Cimarrone once again. I thought I had given up on them.

Very happy with the investments they have made in the course and clubhouse. Greens a tad slow but they’ve grown in nicely. Would be nice if the players fixed their ball marks, but definitely back in the playing rotation.

I had not played this course in almost 2 years. But after hearing good things about it, I had to come see for myself. The reports were accurate. The course is in very good shape and the staff is friendly. My only issue was that I had an 8:24 tee time and the restaurant doesn't open until 11 and the cart girl doesn't arrive until 10.

The course is always well kept and the flow is nice. I have played this course twice and every time the customer service was poor. I first played golf there on a Monday with a tee time around 9am. After the first 9 holes, I couldn’t get any good because the kitchen was closed. Luckily we were able to get some drinks at the bar.

This last time I played was on a Saturday with a 7am tee time. After the first 9, I went to the pro shop to ask if the kitchen was open. They responded with an attitude stating that the sign says it’s closed and doesn’t open till 11am. I asked if there was a cart girl for me to at least get a drink. Her response was “ It’s Saturday so yeah”. I played a full 18 and didn’t see a cart girl once.

The customer service needs to get better at Cimarrone.

There is a big improvement on the greens, they are nice and smooth as a greens should be. I hope they keep the greens nice. It looks they are taking better care of the course which is making it more attractive to play. Price for tee time also increased.

The course was great to play. Everyone on the staff was polite and courteous. The play was slow on the back nine due to six players in the group. The staff talked to them but they continued to play together with total disregard to our group and the groups behind us waiting at every hole. Turned into a five hour round. I’m sure this was an isolated case and we just happen to be the recipients of bad golf etiquette.
