Cimarrone Golf Club

I live in Cimarrone and have seen the course steady improve. Fairways and tee boxes are very nice now. Greens were recently aerated, so they were not optimal this round. Hopefully next round they will be better.

Reasonably priced, reasonable shape. Worth a visit

Much improvement in the course over the past two years, however condition of numerous greens leave a lot to be desired. Two greens especially that are being treated for the past several months (holes 7 and 17). Might as well skip the putting on these through the dirt.

This mid Spring will determine if this course is back or headed towards a downhill spiral. Depends on if rain and treatments work. If not, I will start looking at other courses nearby.

The course is making good progress. The 7th hole green was 'a land of sand' Overall, I truly enjoyed playing this course. I hope improvements continue.

Course conditions have gone backwards in the last 6 weeks. They are trying but have a long way to go before I’ll be back. I always enjoyed the course but it seems to be a constant struggle to attain hgood conditions.

Beautiful course ,well kept! Difficult for rookies like us because of all the water! Lol!

I had not played this course in awhile and several of the greens are still in poor condition.

With the many choices in the area it may be awhile before I play there again

Greens are sand painted, fairways bad. Pace of play really bad.

The greens were full of sand or fertilizer. The ball bounced all over the place. I did hear they were bring new sod in so hopefully that will solve the problem. Other than that it was a beautiful course.

A couple of the greens were unplayable due to combination of sand and rain. A rain check was offered but since it was spring break visit we played. It would have been nice if it could have been at a more reasonable reduced rate.

Good layout but greens in rough shape. They shouldn’t be charging full price to be playing there right now. I’m sure at other times of the year the greens might be nice but right now the greens that are good are slow and many greens are just covered in sand. The sand isn’t from aeration but something else. It’s as if there is no grass and they covered the whole green with green sand to make it look like grass. There are a few of them like this on the course and they are simply unputtable.

Hope next time I actually get to spend time with my sons which is the ONLY REASON I COME HERE.

I have played here 4 or 5 times in last month and usually give a good review. However this time before we even teed off grounds crew were spreading sand on Tee Boxes. That is no problem but nearly every green had tons of sand spread on them as well. I appreciate course maintenance but it certainly effects the out come of your score. 50% is putting. If this happened again I would suggest a price cut of at least $10 as some of those greens were like putting on the beach. The price cut should stay until the sand is worked in.
