Arrowhead Pointe At Lake Richard B. Russell

Really like this course. It is very playable. I love the layout of the holes and the greens are in very good condition.

We played on a Monday and only saw one group tee off in front of us. We had the course to ourselves. We enjoyed the lush fairways. The greens had recently been aerated and sanded, but they were smooth, but a little slow with the sand. This is a beautiful layout with 3-4 holes along the lake. Good mixture of long and short holes. Very good chance to score here if you stay out of the trees.

Course was in fantastic shape and very challenging. Only complaint the pace of play slow groups would not let faster players play through, making for a long round.

Loved the golf course and staff but the bathrooms in the Pro Shop were filthy.

Best state park course in Georgia that I have played. Excellent conditions, friendly staff and awesome layout.

The front 9 is pretty average. Excellent fairways. Greens had been punched a week or two previous so not filled back out yet. The back 9 makes the course. Several holes around the lake or over it in some places. Worth the drive.
