Terrible course
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Especially doing the stay and play. Your are promised breakfast buffet. Free round each day. There was zero breakfast and zero buffet lol. The stay and play package at arrow pointe came with two rounds and I got charged for one when I looked at my bank account next day.
I also heard they arrested a guy this past weekend on Saturday 6/14 for peeing in the bushes! (indecent exposure). I would say on most golf courses - taking a leak in the bushes is common practice, slightly frowned upon - i understand but to have four sheriffs take you off the 11 tee box in handcuffs..... After coming to elberton and spending $ on the so called "stay and play and go to jail" package!!
Be careful with this place. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, Or go to jail.
Great Experience/Beautiful Course
Beautiful park/course that was over crowded on a Saturday. Makes the place a hidden gem. Highly recommend for the price . The course doesn’t play long but The course layout does force you to play smart. Over all great experience and make sure you study how to read Bermuda greens...this could give an advantage.
Great day
Beautiful layout with great views.
Shorter holes require precise tee shot. Greens are multi- tiered with many undulations. Although playing slow- could still be treacherous if hit in the wrong spot.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Best state Park course I have played
Course was great excellent fairways greens were a little slow but I understand why as it is getting hot. Back nine has great scenery around the lake on several holes
Beautiful setting
Excellent course in a beautiful setting. Can’t wait until next time.
Great day of golf
Beautiful golf course. Very scenic and challenging. Would recommend and will play again.
First trip.
We had to alter yearly golf trip due to Covid. This place a gem for stay and play.
Beautiful course on the lake. Very well kept.
Staff is very curtious and friendly.. one of my favorite courses in the area.
Arrowhead Pointe G C
I always enjoy making the trip up to play Arrowhead Pointe. The course played a little hard and fast from previous rounds, but in all fairness the course has not greened up all the way yet. I’ve read sometime ago that this course was a hidden gem, and I would have to agree. I would tell anyone who’s never played there to make a trip and decide for themselves.
Great course that is surprisingly challenging!
Good course for the money and some great holes near the water. Fun and challenging. Course was in good shape and staff were friendly.
Beautiful course, always in good shape
The staff is very nice, friendly and welcoming When the wind is blowing, this is one of more challenging courses around. I really do love this place. Arrowhead Pointe really one of the best courses for the money you can play. There are no houses at all on the course and an abundance of great views of the lake. The course is quite a drive for me (2 hour drive), but I am more than willing to make the drive in order to play the course. The place is a fantastic value for the money.
Lots of golfers out at the course, but spread out and practicing social distancing. The course is taking excellent precautions for COVID-19 protection. Course is always a pleasure to play. The course is one of the most scenic courses around the Southeast with lots of scenic views and lots of holes right along the shores of lake Richard B. Russell. I highly recommend this course to ANYONE who wants to get to a fresh environment with beautiful scenery and play a fun and challenging course.
They have a nice practice area for all you need as far as practice and warm-up.
The course was in excellent condition. The pace of play was fantastic. We never had to wait at all for the groups in front of us. The greens are in very good shape. They have a some patches of fescue grass but not too much, and once the warmer summer hits, those patches will be gone.
This course is one of my favorite layouts anywhere in GA or SC. Every time I play the course, I have to hit every club in my bag, which is not to common or normal for me, but something I really enjoy and appreciate.
Do yourself a favor and make a tee time. You will not be disappointed.
Playd Sat.. and Mon.... They been doing a lot of work and it shows... 1 has a lot of poa... But greens get better through rest of course... This is the best iv seen n years...staff is very welcoming.. the covid. Precousion s r best iv seen so far.. when the wind blowing one of hardest courses under7000... LOVE the place when it plays like it did this week... Don't cry about it and play from back of back tzz..
Arrowhead Pointe is a real gem in the woods
Prepaying with Golfnow.com was perfect in these days of the virus pandemic. Lot's of players but spread out and practicing social distancing. Course is a pleasure to play with the scenic views and food conditions. A little tough for the ladies with several holes requiring a high trajectory to clear some obstacles. I recommend this track to anyone who wants to get to a fresh environment and play a challenging course.
Perfect Day at Arrowhead Pointe
Course was in excellent shape, pace of play very good. Taking excellent precautions for COVID-19 protection. Window for check-in at the clubhouse. Carts were very clean. Greens are in good shape, a few weeds but not much.
The person you are speaking about was arrested for exposing themselves to a cleaning lady at the cabins and arrested for possession of methamphetamine. This same person trashed the cabin. Additionally, everything in the restaurant was shut down due to covid-19.
