Balfron Golf Club

I wasn't expecting this course to be as good as it was for the price I paid.

Plus points - Fairways were excellent as was the course layout and we were greeted warmly by the starter before and after our round

My only slight negative was that the course was a bit short and I didn't need my driver a lot

I would defo play again.

This course is a great test. The course is in fantastic condition; the fairways well kept and the green speeds were brilliant and run true. The thick and tall rough means you have to keep your ball straight but plenty of reward if you do. Greens were a very good test with very few straight putts. Staff were very friendly and happy to offer their knowledge before you play. The scenery around the course makes for a beautiful back drop.

Course was in incredible condition and offered some incredible views as you progress round the course.

Staff were amazing and really insightful giving some great advise to regarding the course.

Would definitely go back!

2nd time playing this on an early morning Sunday - usual friendly welcome ftpm the staff and opportunity yo tee off early if time allows. Some of the best views in Central Scotland golf and the course in great condition

Really enjoyed our round at Balfron. We got lucky with the weather and the course was in great condition. Lots to keep you interested in terms of holes and the scenery is spectacular.

Absolutely beautiful, the Scottish weather held out for us as well. A difficult course but one we will definitely be returning to. The staff are friendly and couldn’t be more helpful,

Fantastic course, booked on a whim and ended up late due to blindly following my sat nav. ( Don't follow the sat nav link in the email).

Met by Jim, who couldn't have been friendlier, did give me a heads up to say there was a 4 ball and two ladies Infront of me so I might catch them up in a few holes.

Gave me the course lay out and a few tips about the first couple of holes.

The course itself beautiful, fairways a bit tight and the rough can disappear any stray balls quite easily. A few blind summits that were a good challenge. lovely mixture of par 3-4-5s. Really enjoyed the par 5s.

Friendly staff member helped me on arrival giving me details of course and how to get around it. The scenery around the course and course layout is superb. Definitely worth the cost of a round and look forward to returning later in the year. Thanks again.

Really enjoyed the round. Staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating (I was running late). Fairways were in good condition, couple of the greens needs a bit of work. Challenging layout but enjoyable at the same time.

Course was a bit wet from bad weather but still an excellent course. Fun holes in a nice setting. Would go back again.

What a fantastic day for golf. The weather was fabulous and the course played well. Would highly recommend a day out to Balfron. The views on the course are absolutely amazing.

First time playing this course . We thoroughly enjoyed our day here a little wet underfoot in places but course looking really good considering all the rain we've had .
