Extremely slow

Lovely course. Some fantastic holes however members are so slow and won't let you through.

Longest round of golf I have had to play by far. Unless you have all day to waste then I wouldn't bother coming here.

Such a shame

Under the radar

This golf course is one of those great courses that sneaks under the radar and is a superb test of golf. It has a great mix of par 3's and 4's with there being no par 5's on the course although the 3rd and 13th feel like par 5's.

Played here with my son and his friend, the course was quite quiet, course was in very good condition for the time of year. I have played a lot of private courses that do not come up to the standard of this municipal golf course, only downside is the poor quality and lack of sand in the bunkers.

Overall, good value for money and it is obvious the green keeping staff are making great efforts to improve and maintain the course. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff in the pro shop/starters.
