Golfer Reviews
Not for the unfit
Good course with some great views course was in excellent condition given the dry weather. Course gets very challenging after the twelve with big up and down hills all in all for the money well recommended.
Great course, amazing value!
- Course in excellent condition
- Amazing value for money
- convenient location from Glasgow City Centre
- challenging and varied holes
Dalmuir
A little gem in the heart of Scotland. For a Municipal course it was in perfect condition and plenty of greenkeepers. Couple of quirky holes included a blind par 3. Will definitely be back again
Best municipal course around (but the bunkers let it down)
Course is playing well. Greens are in great condition. My only gripe is the poor condition of most of the bunkers. I took 4 to get out of the greenside bunker at the 4th. Other than that, lovely round of golf in the sun
Much better condition
Course is in much better condition to when I played it a few years ago, will be back again soon to play it.
The course has tough back 9
Got this course on a bad day! Would like to say I would go back on a more pleasing day but from the 13th onwards had me all over the place.
Dalmuir
Very friendly and helpful starter..ive played many many courses including Championships..however, Dalmuir 13 to 18 is the toughest ive ever encountered..huge uphill and severe sloping Par 4s and demanding Par 3s..the greens are difficult to read but in excellent condition..scoring holes are 4 to 12 but still tough..for a tenner a round I rate it outstanding value.
Great course apart from ....
Dalmuir is a great course and value for money...only issue we had and seems to be a regular issue is the non payers who jump on at the 2nd tee and hold you up . Nobody is checking who is on the course and the extra people make it congested and holds you up when all you want to do is play. Saying that its still a great course and well worth playing....its very hilly so take a trolley and some water as you will.need it.
