Hilton Park Golf Club sits just 9 miles northwest of Glasgow, near Rob Roy country, on the route toward Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.

The Hilton Course at Hilton Park Golf Club offers 18 holes over 6,045 yards, with a 70 par, and it makes you wait for the signature hole until the 17th, a par-3 that measures 184 yards, and has the apt name of Muckly Drop. You shoot from an elevated tee toward a well-bunkered green that has a burn blocking the green's front edge 200 feet below; even the best golfers have a tough time on this hole. Test the wind, always varied, to decide whether you're shooting with a nine-iron or a driver.

If you're golfing on a budget, play the Hilton Course at the Hilton Park Golf Club during the slow season from October to April, when the rates are deeply discounted.

Great Afternoon

Reserved a tee time for one golfer late afternoon. After short drive from Glasgow, was playing in less than two hours from booking. Carried my bag and walked. Challenging walk due to the hills - several steep ones - but a great afternoon on a well conditioned course.

Challenging hilly course with perfect green condition. Very enjoyable to play on! Staffs are very friendly, didn't get a chance to try the food since the restaurant was closed when I finished playing. Will definitely go back to play again.
