What’s up with the greens???
Greens were as wavy as the surf in the winter.
Not worth $50
My brother from out out town said “shame on LA county”
HARD PACKED CLAY / CRABGRASS course
I played with some serious players and we played ball as it placed at. I hit very nice tea shots and second shot was on hard fairway with NO GRASS AT ALL 7 out of 10. They were hard packed clay in some areas and a muddy mess in others. It supposed to be mark as repair area. I guess they don't really care about course conditions because people usually replace ball when they play. With that second shots above horrible fairway, my third shots were around green with half bunker with shallow sands which is not meant for bunker by course designer. Or another NO GRASS area / CRABGRASS with quite a few bare spots .
If you can replace a ball, I think is is average golf course.
I believe this course deserve $20 - 30 for walking player.
fun course if you are in no rush and don’t really care about perfect greens or even decent fairways. pretty run down but it has potential. staff seem overworked by covid regulations and could probably use alittle more staffing but overall would give the course another shot.
Fun layout
It’s enjoyable because there are eke around changes in the front 9. The 10th us a great par 3. Lot of fun hikes. Fairways are a bit beaten up with inconsistent lies.
Small Green
This course is playable except for the postage stamp greens. So plan on either hitting your number on the dot on your irons. Iif not your chipoing. The fairwys are not in good shape. The grass is uneven and there are bald spots
The best I have seen it in a while
I like CW and used to play often until the greens were poorly maintained. The course is moderate when you play from the blues due to the distance but much easier from the whites. The fairways were in good shape and the greens were the best I have seen there in the last 7 months. I walked 9 holes for twilight and got a very good work out due to the elevation changes.
Nice course but a little pricey
When I booked online it had two prices on the web page-$33.00 and $44.00.(Golf Now). After everything was said and done. I chose to use a golf cart and that was a extra $15.00 a head. Total green fees with a golf cart was $60.00. The greens were in nice condition. Pace of play was ok. Very slow on the back nine. There wasn’t enough bathrooms or working ones on the course. I remember one odd house and two at the clubhouse. We paired up with a nice group of guys. We all had a great time. But it was kind of expensive!
