About
Crescent Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton is Arnold Palmer's only public course in the area. It is conveniently located just a few minutes west of the bridge leaving Hilton Head Island. Opened in 2000, the course has quickly gained a reputation as being one of the Lowcountry's best. Sprawling across a lush landscape blanketed with century-old oaks and towering pines, the layout is as scenic as it is challenging. While the generous fairways may be player friendly, the difficult approaches to the elevated, well bunkered greens are anything but. The large, pristine white sand bunkers were designed in true Palmer-style, closely following the natural undulations of the land. The gently rolling terrain is unique for the area. Crescent Pointe Golf Club's elevation changes aren't dramatic but they do provide some subtle, but tricky undulations in the greens that make it hard to find a flat lie.

Great off island course
Great off island course. Course was in good condition and greens held nicely. I would recommend giving this course a try
Loved it
We really enjoyed our round. The only drawback was the terrible condition of the cart path. DEFINITELY needs a major overhaul.

Fun Arnie Course
My father-in-law and I were in HHI for the week. We were recommended Crescent Pointe. We found a hot deal and gave it a shot. The staff was friendly and tried the get us on the course earlier. The weather was terrible the day we played. We were extremely impressed with greens and fairways. The tee boxes, sand traps, and cart paths were rough around the edges. We would absolutely would play again. The layout of the holes were challenging but fair. The holes were not the same over and over. Highly recommend checking it out.

#13 hole dangerous
My wife who was playing with me fell coming off the 13th green and twisted her ankle and did not play the rest of the round There was a hole covering up a sprinkle control about 18 inches deep by 8 inches wide. The Bermuda grass covered over the hole and it wasn’t marked. This was extremely dangerous. We took pictures and pulled up the grass to expose this We report it to the clubhouse immediately and they couldn’t refund me our round due to how we purchased the tee time.

Nice track
Overall a good course. Needs some work in several course areas - Traps and waste bunkers, Cart paths, Tee boxes. They are spending the money on fairways and greens. Put better water for drinking on the course please. Much rain on the weekend made greens very slow. Palmer design makes a well maintained course fun. This ownership needs to invest a few dollars and it would be great.

Needs some updates
Shame that this course was not in great shape. Tee boxes were not good, greens were very slow and hairy. Cart paths were super bumpy. I heard this course was recently bought by a new group - so hopefully in a year they put some money into this potentially good course.

Save your money and time
Course was garbage condition wayyy overpriced. Don’t come here unless you want to hit off garbage fairways and putt on the moons surface.

Plays like a Florida course
This course reminds me of playing in Florida. Narrow fairways lined with heavy trees-bushes, creeks and ponds. Greens were running exceptionally slow today. Lots of forced carries that come into play if you mess up your shot. Otherwise they're just a distraction.
With some good course management it's plays pretty easy. Definitely would play here again.

Crescent Pointe is a great layout
Crescent Pointe is an amazing layout and the 17th and 18th holes have some of the best views in Bluffton. I gave the conditions 3 stars but it looked like the course had been aerated in the last couple of weeks and things were coming in very nicely. This course has some memorable holes and if you play the correct tees for your skill level you'll have a great time.
