Links at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

The day we played was cart path only. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were good. The staff were friendly. It was a nice round of golf.

2nd time playing here and 2nd great experience. Course is well kept from the greens to the fairways to the rough areas. Staff were friendly which is always a plus.

I loved absolutely everything about this course. The fairways were perfect, the greens neatly manicured, and a challenge for any level of player with the abundance of water and bunkers. Will definitely be back

Guard did not no were links was at but we found it.were mean about being in wrong lane. But once at course it was great. Great veiws of the bay.

We had a great time playing our first round at the links. The staff was very nice and very accommodating. When our game was cut short because of weather, they gladly offered a rain check for our back nine..

We had to wait to hit on every shot. On the 7th hole the marshall drives up to the tee where we are waiting, glares at us while we are hitting. He watches as our first player hits a drive within 10 yards of the group ahead after waiting five minutes for them to clear.

After all of us hit the marshall tells us to '"let's get it going".

I hope you find a better marshal going forward starting tomorrow.

Played during family vacation with my 12 year old son. The course was in great condition and was fun for both of us. Lots of water from all the ocean views, so bring a few extra balls. Tee boxes could use a little love but overall a great experience. Will play again in the future.

The Links @ Sandestin provides an atypical experience with a wide variety of shot types. Tee shot accuracy is at a premium but extreme carry is not required. Course is in good condition even in extreme summer.

The course itself was great, I had a fun time playing on vacation. The greens were very, very slow. I’m not for sure if it was because it was so hot out or they are always that slow. That’s me just pointing out the details, I would still recommend for sure.

Golf at the Links can be a very relaxing experience, The views of the manicured course rolling into the bay while a lone palm tree in the distance sways will take the nerves down a notch. Due to the pace of play police the course is not enjoyable as the scenery would suggest, on the first par three on the front side we had to wait several minutes for the green to clear. Once cleared we hit our tee shots. As we entered our carts the Marshall approached us complaining there was too big of gap between us and the group in front,

if the goal is to play as fast as one can perhaps a shot clock is in order. Or the 4 lawn mowers in the middle of the fairways on requiring us to wait could be avoided with a different mowing schedule. Or God forbid, don't over book the course.($$$$$-aint happening)

Greens were long and slow, probably protecting them from the heat. Sand was crusty on top but soft as talc underneath. Facilities were nice and functional. They usually have cart boys to help at the bag drop but I didn't see any. They were there, they just were not helping with the carts or bags. Proshop shop guys and the starter were very nice and professional.

this is the second year in a row my son and i have played this course. This year the weather wasnt the best. in fact a tornado hit very close to us. we waited the weather out and had a good day. the staff is awesome.

Overall course was exactly as I remember playing it 10 years ago. It had been raining all week in Destin - Miramar area and we did not get a chance to finish our round as a severe storm headed that way and it turned out to be a tornado. Course staff was attentive and got us out off the course and secured the carts.

I would like to play it again.

Tough little course. Significant course management required. Wind was an issue. Driving range was irons only. But I really liked it. We had fun. Opportunities for cool pics. Definitely want to play again.
