Baytowne at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Golf cart GPS system did not work until Marshall fixed it on hole 7. No sand in cups to fill divits! Ya'll need to do better!

Played with my grandson, a new player, and found the course in good shape & somewhat forgiving.

Course needs cold drinking water and ice on the course. If not able to Provide cold water, then provide or allow bottled water.

Bag Drop Staff was not welcoming or informative upon arrival for first time guests.

I was paired up with two other players that had a start time 17 minutes prior to mine. I would have rather played with my pair rather than being moved up.

This course has 6 holes that are high quality and interesting in terms of the layout… 6 holes that are pretty good, and 6 holes that are kind of filler. In particular the 2 par 3’s by the power lines are kind of an afterthought. The greens were really disappointing…. Very slow, frustratingly slow. For $130 I expect better green quality. I would have been fine if I paid $60-$70. There’s lots of better options in the area.

Slow play for sure. Greens are not rolled and bumpy. Acceptable, but they can do much better.

Would not pay full price here, but Golf Now makes this an enjoyable place for the money at 65-75 dollars. If you pay 100 plus no bueno.

General condition good. Greens are not rolled and generally compared to other courses in the area sub-par. Pretty frustrating. Driving range area great, however if there are no balls to hit then that says it all. Probably under staffed like most courses in the area.

Great course for the money. Decent pace of play. Course was in great shape. Plenty of hazards, so pretty tough for a bogey golfer but overall a great time and will be back!

Solid course. Good layout. Great way to start your SanDestin golf adventure. Pretty wide fairways. Receptive greens. A touch slower than expected but rolled pretty true. Would be nice if players repaired their pitch marks but that’s not the course’s fault. A nice challenge but not overwhelming for mid to high handicappers. All in all a good day and a good round.

A fun course, pretty challenging, a little tight, but in pretty good shape. Driving range was closed to to damage from recent weather but it looked fine? This is a common issue at Sandestin for a number of excuses. It’s always something it seems? Greens are kinda choppy and very slow. Fairways are always pretty good. Tee boxes are just ok. Pace of play was great today. Sandestin is pretty expensive for a course with no driving range, no towels, no water, etc.

24 hours after being hit by a tornado and heavy rain. The course was in good condition. Range was closed.

The staff were all great and very friendly. When I booked the tee time on golf now it said that practice facility was included, but it was closed. The course was also cart path only and punched (also not mentioned). Overall I would have much rather played a different course if I had known what the conditions were.

The sand that was thrown down on the greens was inconsistent and lumpy in places. Difficult to judge speed for putts.

Great course to play. Layout was very nice and course was in good condition. Only thing is the greens were slower then expected. Takes some adjusting, but overall a great experience. Would definitely play again.

The slowest greens I have ever played on. Ruined the round for me

The courses are well maintained except for several tee boxes that need rebuilding broken up cart paths and broken down sea walls. They do nothing to speed up slow play. Expect a 4 1/2 to 5 hour round consistently. Wait on every shot.

$110 for the summer is absurd. Course layout is very cool as it goes through the property. Fairways and tee boxes are fine. Greens are soooo soft and hairy and not much conpelxtity to them. But that’s most resort courses so
