About
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers four 18-hole, championship courses designed by three renowned architects. Raven Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., was carefully carved through marshes, native wetlands, and towering pine forests. Jones created a layout that is hailed for being both modern and traditional. It is also notable for how it seamlessly flows into the surrounding nature. The golf course offers plenty of variety both in shot options and visual scenery. The diverse holes are accented by dramatic changes in color and texture throughout the landscape. Water comes into play frequently and there are a number of strategically placed sand traps. Golfers are presented with a myriad of different ways to play each hole, which means thoughtful strategy is a necessity. The golf course's large, undulating greens also make proper club selection essential.

The course was in good shape,although fairways a little wet in places.
Very pleased with my first experience at Raven. Tee boxes were not up to par with condition of the course. Appears the tee boxes have been neglected . Very nice layout . It is a long course, even from the White tees compared to other courses in the area. I will definitely come back!

No balls on the range
Price was way too high for the experience, including no range balls for us to hit (supposedly included with our fee).

My favorite course
Member of Sandestin Golf Club. Hands down, Raven is my favorite course. I love the layout, fairways are in great shape as are the greens. Bunkers are actually fun to hit out of. Beverage cart hits you up at least twice during the round. Overall, best course of the three (Burnt Pine is a separate membership, but part of Sandestin - guests on site can play).

Was happy to go back
Love this course. Hadn’t been in 3 years as we are from Canada. But when I played it yesterday, still totally enjoyed it. Glad I’m going back tomorrow. Too bad it is so expensive, if not we would be there a lot more often when we are in Sandestin .

Back Home to golf
Came back after 10yrs. Course was in great shape pace of play less than 4hrs. Greens running 10-11 smooth. Fairways even and in good shape.

Great Layout
The course has a great layout and is a goof challenge. Staff is friendly and very helpful. There is no restaurant and the turn eatery was closed by 1pm even thought we were told all about it before we went off. Pace of play was ridiculously slow and there was no martial on the course to help out. Bring your "A" game and patience.

Everything was great. Only complaint we never saw the cart girl and the halfway house was closed . We enjoyed ourselves
