Raven at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Great course and staff. Fairways and greens in great condition. Pace of play was great too. Most courses stack their tee times on top of each other. I never felt rushed.

Very nice course. Pace of play was nice. 4 hour round Had a heavy rain night before but still got off path so place drains well. Greens were slow due to recent holes being punched but we knew that during booking. Playing course next to Raven in 2 days and looking forward to it

Raven was in great shape and overall staff was great with our large group. We especially enjoyed the cart girls and bartenders. Starter was also a great help. We will be back!!!

A lovely afternoon with random players. Well manicured, challenging holes, true roll greens with good speed, well kept traps and plenty of them. Favorable forward tees for older players and high handicappers. Can hardly wait to do it again.

Fantastic condition and course layout. Challenging shot selection! Greens rolling nice. Island green!! Course calls for a draw on most tee shots.

The course wall is great condition. Fairways and greens rolled out nicely!!! Would definitely play again.

I was fortunate to play with a couple of regulars. Great group of guys of similar age. Over 60 group. We played the white tees which had plenty of bite. Course condition tee to green was great. Water played into many shots. I will be playing the Raven again.

I loved playing this course. Beautiful surroundings. Excellent course condition. Challenging layout with plenty of tees to fit anyone's game and firm greens. Would definitely play this course again.

I took a golf trip with a group of 8 guys and was looking forward to playing this course. The weather was off and on all weekend and saw a gap in the radar for us to play Saturday afternoon so we went for it. The older lady that was in charge of sending us to hole one was extremely rude and had an attitude. We began play and my group got to hole 6 and my other group got to hole 7 before it started raining. We waited it out a little bit and saw that the rain was not going to let up. All 8 of spent $107 a piece to play this beautiful course. We went into the club house and was notified that we were only able to get a rain check for the amount of 13 holes. I was very thrown off that I was not able to use the remaining $70 I spent to play golf that I could not use that money towards the club house (tshirt ot hat) or even food. This course gets a lot of traffic from vacationers which was the case for us. Two of the guys didn't even worry about getting the rain check because they knew they would not be back to Destin anytime soon (much less keep up with a rain check for years to use). If there is a chance of rain (which there always is at the beach) I would not suggest playing this course because you are more than likely out the money that you spent to play a full 18 holes.

Course would not alllow me to use disabled flag because of cart path only restrictions. While on course I saw 4 carts driving down fairways. When challenged by me it was stated that because they were members.they were not subject to same rules.

The course closed due to inclimate weather right as we walked in to Sandestin. Thunderstorms had been present for several hours prior to tee time, so we called 30 min. before arriving. We were told “Oh yeah, we are open”. Sanderson could not cancel the reservation when we arrived and the course was closed. We called GolfNow and a heavy Indian accent male stated he had to call his supervisor and Sandestin before he could credit us for course being closed. We will not use GolfNow for future reservations. Bad experience.

We have played this course many times as we live locally.
